Hyundai has officially launched the highly anticipated 2024 Creta and the first-ever Made-in-Nepal Venue, setting a new benchmark in the Nepali SUV market. These two SUVs are designed to cater to the evolving needs of Nepali consumers, offering a blend of style, performance, and local craftsmanship. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor for Hyundai Motor Company in Nepal, introduced the all-new 2024 Hyundai Creta and the Made-in-Nepal Hyundai Venue during the NADA Auto Show 2024.
The new Creta will come with the existing 1.5L MPi petrol engine in the Nepalese market. This 1497cc engine delivers 113 bhp at 6000 rpm and 143.8 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel tank capacity remains 50 litres, offering a mileage of approximately 20 kmpl. The suspension system consists of a McPherson strut with a coil spring at the front and a coupled torsion beam axle at the rear, complemented by all-disc brakes.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta features a bold new design with a striking grille, sharp LED lights, and sporty alloy wheels. Inside, it offers a high-tech, spacious cabin with dual 10.25-inch screens, upgraded upholstery, and advanced amenities like dual-zone air conditioning. Safety is a priority, with multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, and a 360-degree camera. The Creta retains key features such as a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated seats, and a Bose sound system.
The Venue offers two engine options for a smooth driving experience. The 1.2L petrol engine delivers 83 PS and 114 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine generates 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque, with an iMT or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It comes in four variants with the 1.2L engine and one variant with the 1.0L turbo engine. With a highly efficient engine, the Venue delivers impressive mileage, making it an economical choice for Nepali buyers.
The Hyundai Venue packs a punch with its bold look, sporty stance, dark chrome grille, LED lights, and even a smart sunroof. Inside, you get a digital dash, an 8-inch infotainment with voice control, and a wireless charger. Plus, it’s got 15-inch steel wheels, auto AC, and a cool glove box. It’s loaded with ABS, dual airbags, a rear camera, and a sturdy body with AHSS. The suspension is smooth with MacPherson struts, and the braking is solid with front discs and rear drums. Oh, and it's a front-wheel drive with room for five.
The Hyundai Creta facelift price in Nepal starts at NRs. 55.96 Lakh. The price of the new Hyundai Creta now ranges from NRs. 55.96 Lakh to NRs. 85.96 Lakh. It comes in seven different trims and offers six colour options. The locally manufactured Hyundai Venue price in Nepal is NRs. 44.96 Lakh for the 1.2 (S) variant and NRs. 53.56 Lakh for the 1.2 (SX) variant.
