NIU Nepal has officially launched its premium electric bike NIU RQi in Nepal. Eco Infinity, the official distributor of NIU scooters in Nepal, has introduced the NIU RQi as its most premium and high-priced model to date. This state-of-the-art electric bike is designed to redefine urban commuting, combining sleek design, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional performance. Developed over four years of intensive R&D, the NIU RQi boasts a cutting-edge design, impressive features, and an extended range.

Under the hood, the NIU RQi Premium is equipped with a state-of-the-art electric motor that delivers impressive performance. It features a 7500W in-house NIU electric motor, which, with a 93% power efficiency, generates a robust 450 Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with a 72V36AH dual Lithium Ion battery providing a total output of 5.184 kWh. It takes 4 hours to fully charge a single battery and 7 hours for a dual battery setup, providing a range of 95-105 km on a single charge.

The NIU RQi Premium Electric Bike comes equipped with a range of advanced features designed for both convenience and safety. It includes distinctive circular LED headlamps and slim LED indicators for enhanced visibility. The bike is powered by dual ultra-long-life batteries, ensuring extended range and performance. For added security, it features front and rear cameras with collision detection and automatic recording capabilities. 

The bike also offers keyless entry with a one-touch start function, an anti-theft system with GPS tracking, and an integrated smart hub. Additionally, NIU app connectivity allows for seamless interaction with the bike’s smart features. On the safety front, the RQi is equipped with a dual-disc braking system that combines front and rear braking, along with dual-channel ABS and Traction Control System (TCS) for improved control and stability.

The NIU RQi Premium Electric Bike measures 2080mm in length, 835mm in width, and 1108mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1455mm. It features a ground clearance of 167mm, which is relatively low for a motorbike, and has a kerb weight of 135 kg. The RQi boasts impressive acceleration, reaching 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. It is fitted with alloy wheels and comes with a 110/70-R17 tyre at the front and a 140/70-R17 tyre at the rear.

The NIU RQi price in Nepal is NRs. 9.90 lakh. It is available in a variety of colours, including Green, Red, Blue, and Brushed Silver.
