Nexon Venture has officially launched the LS Auto's LEV 01 Electric SUV in Nepal. This electric crossover SUV, developed by the prominent Chinese EV manufacturer LS Auto, has officially entered the Nepalese market. As the demand for sustainable and eco-friendly vehicles rises, the introduction of this stylish and performance-driven electric SUV marks a turning point in Nepal's EV industry. It also represents a perfect blend of cutting-edge design, advanced electric technology, and uncompromising comfort. 

The LS Auto's LEV 01 electric SUV is available in two variants: SE and CE.  It boasts an impressive electric range, making it ideal for daily commuting and longer road trips. Both variants of the LEV 01 come with identical battery and motor configurations. It is powered by a 99kW motor paired with a 67.1 kWh battery pack, producing 320 Nm of torque. The company asserts that the vehicle can achieve a range of over 500 kilometres on a full charge, although the specific testing standard used to determine this figure is not mentioned. The car can be charged from 0 to 80% in just under an hour using a fast charger.

The LEV 01 Electric SUV offers an aerodynamic, futuristic design that’s bound to turn heads. It boasts a stylish, aerodynamic exterior with LED headlights and an expansive panoramic sunroof. Inside, it features upscale amenities, including a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-zone climate control, and a roomy cabin. Additional highlights of the LEV 01 comprise a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, electric tailgate, 360-degree camera, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a touchscreen display, hill hold assist, and a multifunctional steering wheel.

The LEV 01, a crossover SUV, has dimensions of 4640 mm in length, 1870 mm in width, and 1655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2760 mm. It is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels and provides a ground clearance of 210 mm. The LEV 01 offers a spacious interior, thanks to its extended wheelbase, comfortably seating five. With 480 litres of cargo space, it’s ideal for families or groups, providing ample room for luggage and daily essentials. These dimensions contribute to the LEV 01's strong road presence and practicality for urban and off-road adventures.

The LS Auto's LEV 01 electric SUV price in Nepal is NRs. 61.90 lakh for the SE variant while the CE variant is priced at NRs. 71.90 lakh. The company is establishing a showroom and service centre in Naxal, near Bhatbhateni, and will soon start offering test drives and accepting bookings. In addition, they are providing an 8-year or 150,000 km warranty on both the battery and motor. With its launch, Nexon Venture is not just introducing a vehicle but is also steering Nepal toward a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
