The budget-friendly electric hatchback Wuling Binguo has officially arrived in the Nepalese market. Paramount Motors, the authorised distributor of Wuling electric cars in Nepal, is gearing up to launch its newest mini electric hatchback Wuling Bingo in Nepal very shortly. The Wuling Binguo marks the brand's second foray into the electric vehicle (EV) market, following in the footsteps of the successful Wuling Air EV. This electric vehicle is classified as cost-effective because of its small dimensions and effortless navigation through city streets.
One of the most enticing aspects of the Wuling Binguo Electric Hatchback is its impressive efficiency. It is powered by a 50 kW PMSM electric motor that generates a max power of 67PS and a max torque of 150Nm. It is equipped with a 31.9 kWh lithium ferro-phosphate battery. It boasts an impressive range of 333 kilometres on a single charge.
Additionally, it offers quick charging capabilities, with the ability to recharge from 20% to 80% of its battery capacity in just 5.5 hours using an AC charger. Alternatively, with a DC charger, it can recharge from 30% to 80% in a swift 35-minute timeframe. It is also equipped with a single transmission reduction gear.
Boasting modern features, this electric hatchback is a testament to the evolution of automotive engineering. It comes with a sleek and modern design featuring a classic look with dual-tone finishing. It boasts advanced features including LED Projector Headlamps, LED DRLs, LED Side Indicators with stylish diamond-shaped grilles and LED taillamps.
The Binguo EV comes with a dual 10.25-inch display for both the infotainment system and instrument console. While it supports Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones, it doesn't feature Android Auto or Apple CarPlay integration. It also features 4 speakers setup. It also boasts a luxurious interior with glossy ceramic accents and soft synthetic leather panels.
In terms of safety, the vehicle is equipped with dual airbags positioned in the front. Additionally, it is fortified with a suite of protective features including an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electric stability control (ESC), and ISOFIX for added security. It also boasts electronic parking with automatic hold, complete disc braking, and convenient cruise control features.
The Wuling Binguo features compact dimensions, measuring 3950mm long, 1708mm wide, and 1580mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2560mm. Ground clearance details are undisclosed. Weighing 1190 Kg, it offers a spacious 310-litre boot capacity, expandable to 790 litres when the rear seats are folded. With a top speed of 100 km/h, it's primed for road adventures.
The Wuling Bingo price in Nepal is NRs. 32.99 Lakhs. It will be available in three color options: Milk Tea, Galaxy Blue, and Mousse Green. Bingo provides three distinct riding modes: Eco, Medium, and Sports. It will be available in a single variant for now. It is poised to compete head-to-head with the Tata Tiago EV in Nepal's electric vehicle market.
While specific launch details, warranty information, and other pertinent details are yet to be confirmed, the company has initiated the showcasing of the new electric vehicle at its newly constructed showroom in Naxal.
