Recently, the Nepalese automotive industry witnessed a significant shift as the renowned Henrey Mincar transformed into Henrey Volts. This change comes in the wake of a restructuring in its ownership within the Nepalese market. Earlier, Pioneer World Wide Pvt Ltd held the distributorship for Henrey electric cars, but now sales have been assumed by S Cube Enterprises Pvt Ltd. This new electric vehicle is a city-focused car for daily commutes and city driving. Henrey embarked on a journey of transformation, culminating in the birth of Henrey Volts.

 Henrey Volts vehicles promise not only zero emissions but also unparalleled performance. It is equipped with a lithium battery that has a capacity of 17 kWh. It is powered by an 18kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 47.58PS (35kW) and a max torque of 102 Nm. According to the NEDC standard, the Henrey Volts offers a range of 185 km. The new EV can be charged from 20% to 100% in just four hours. 

In terms of safety, the Henrey Volts features a regenerative braking system. Additional safety components comprise a reverse camera and sensors, control buttons, hill hold assist, ABS, EBD, EPS, and airbags, among various others. The suspension is managed by McPherson Independent, while Five Connecting Rods takes care of handling duties. Henrey Safety continues to set the standard for what it means to prioritize safety without compromising on performance or style.

While the name may have evolved, the core features of the car remain steadfastly unaltered. The Henrey Volts comes with a host of features including large halogen headlamps with an EV-inspired grill, integrated side indicators, LED taillamp, AC, heater, PU leather seat and transmission shift control among many others. It features a built-in digital infotainment system that offers essential data such as battery status, distance covered and various other metrics.

The Henrey Volts is currently available at an exclusive price of Rs 19.95 Lakh for the initial 15 purchasers. According to the company, the previous price of the car stood at Rs 24.50 Lakh, but it has undergone a reduction due to various factors, including the decrease in lithium battery expenses and competitive pressures within the market. It is available only in a single variant and it comes with Dual Riding Modes: Eco and Sports.
