The Hyundai Palisade is the brand's latest flagship SUV which all set to make its debut in the Nepalese market. Hyundai Palisade is an excellent three-row SUV. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Hyundai cars in Nepal, has recently introduced a new SUV Palisade Nepal. According to Laxmi Hyundai, the SUV will be launched in the Nepalese market in the coming months. The Hyundai Palisade has 1 Diesel Engine on offer which comes with an Automatic transmission.

According to the company, the Hyundai Palisade is powered by a 3.8-litre Atkinson-cycle V6 petrol engine that is tuned to produce 291PS and 355Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter which is offered in both front-wheel-drive and 4WD variants. The Palisade is a premium offering that has three rows of seats and a capacity for up to seven with premium features such as a dual-panel sunroof, power-folding and reclinable second and third-row seats.

The Palisade SUV comes with numerous features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connected car technology, wireless phone charger, 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It also gets a surround-view monitor for ease of navigating. It also comes with numerous safety and driver-assist systems which includes driver attention warning and gets ABS and disc brakes, a tyre pressure monitoring system, traction control, vehicle stability management and seven airbags.

According to company sources, the car will be officially unveiled in the Nepalese market very soon. Once launched in Nepal, the SUV will compete with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero and Ford Endeavour. The starting price of this SUV in the Nepalese market is estimated to be around NRs 2 crore. The SUV was first unveiled at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
