Hero Xtreme 200 4V In The Making; Launch Expected Around Festive Season

According to the latest report, Hero Motocorp is actively working on the next variant of the Hero Xtreme 200. Hero Motocorp has also teased the Xtreme 200 4V on its social media, hinting that the launch is around the corner. According to various sources, it is also anticipated to hit the Nepalese market very soon. More details are yet to be revealed of the upcoming four-valve variant Xtreme 200 4V but it is also very clear that the motorcycle will be more powerful than the current version of Xtreme 200 which is available for sale right now in Nepal. 


The BS6-compliant version of the Xtreme 200S is now available in Nepal. The current Xtreme 200S comes with a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that produces 17.83bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The four-valve configuration is set to allow the engine to produce 20-21bhp of maximum power as well as be more refined than the standard versions. With both front and rear disc brakes, Xtreme 200 4BV is set to come up with an anti-locking braking system. The bike still will remain mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is set to use telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to handle the shock absorption tasks. 


The Hero  Xtreme 200 4V is most likely to come with a new color scheme. The bike is also set to get updated on switchgear, and an integrated starter and kill switch. The new motorbike will also include new features likes a contemporary headlamp design, a muscular fuel tank, and a comfortable seat with all-LED lighting, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The bike will also feature a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, large petal discs with ABS, an upswept exhaust, and an aluminum bash plate. If it comes with Bluetooth, We can expect smartphone connectivity and on-screen navigation. 


Additionally, more details the upcoming motorcycle will be revealed on the coming days. The Hero Hero Xtreme 200S in Nepal is currently available at the starting price of NRs. 3.20  lakhs. We can expect Hero to price the new Hero Xtreme 200 4V at a premium over the standard versions. Hero Motocorp has not announced anything yet, but it can be expected to launch around the Tihar season in the Nepalese market. Once launched in Nepal, it will compete in the Nepalese market with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200.
