Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle brand known for its rugged and reliable machines, has officially launched the highly anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in Nepal. Known for its rugged build and reliable performance, the Himalayan 450 is set to elevate the riding experience in Nepal. With enhanced power, advanced features, and a design tailored for both on-road and off-road adventures, this motorcycle is poised to become a game-changer in adventure riding in Nepal. 


At the heart of the Himalayan 450 is a powerful engine that delivers impressive power and torque. It is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder engine that generates a max power of 40PS at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm, including 33Nm of torque accessible from the 2,500rpm mark. The engine features a four-valve head and a DOHC configuration, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. It features a newly designed steel twin-spar frame with a Showa 43mm upside-down fork and mono-shock, providing 200mm of wheel travel.


True to its heritage, the Himalayan 450 features a rugged and durable design. The bike is equipped with modern features like an LED headlight, headlamp cowl, windshield, front beak, LED taillamps, LED indicators, a C-type USB charging port, and ride-by-wire. It also includes a 4-inch circular TFT dashboard that displays gear position, trip meter, and navigation. This dashboard connects to your phone via Bluetooth, allowing you to access Google Maps and control music using the joystick on the left switch cube.


The braking system of Himalayan 450 features a 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It comes with wire-spoked wheels, fitted with 90/90 R21 front and 140/80 R17 rear tyres. It offers a ground clearance of 230mm, a kerb weight of 196kg, and a 17-litre fuel tank. The seat height is adjustable between 805mm and 845mm. The expected mileage is approximately 35 km per litre. The bike comes with robust pannier mounts and a luggage rack, providing ample storage options for extended journeys.


The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 price in Nepal starts at NRs. 9.89 Lakh. It is offered in four variants, priced between Rs 9.89 Lakh and Rs 10.39 Lakh.
