With each iteration, TVS has been raising the bar in the realm of motorcycles, and the 2024 Apache RTR 160 2V is no exception. This bike powerhouse is not just about raw power; it's a blend of cutting-edge technology, superior performance, and jaw-dropping design.

The latest release from TVS primarily focuses on graphical updates rather than substantial mechanical changes. Despite minor design adjustments, the disappointment lies in the fact that TVS continues to offer a BS4 engine with this model. The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V boasts a sporty design inspired by racing. Every visual aspect serves a purpose to enhance performance. The aerodynamic body is smartly crafted to reduce air resistance. For instance, the tank scoops are not just for looks; they also help cool the engine by directing airflow efficiently.

Additionally, it sports a refreshed LED headlamp with signature LED DRLs, a sculpted tail cowl, split grab handles, and a new triangular LED taillight. However, the side indicators remain the same as the halogen ones in the older version. It also boasts a brand-new digital dashboard. TVS Apache RTR 160 2V is powered by a 160cc air-cooled engine that generates a max power of 14.14PS at 8000rpm and a max torque of 13.2Nm at 6750rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It's equipped with dual-disc braking featuring a combined braking system, yet it's noteworthy that ABS remains absent. The front suspension is equipped with Telescopic Forks, while the rear suspension is fitted with Monotube Inverted Gas-filled Shocks (MIG) supported by a Spring Aid system.

The new 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 2V measures 2085mm in length, 730mm in width, and 1105mm in height. It boasts a wheelbase of 1300mm. It comes with a ground clearance of 165mm and a kerb weight of 138 Kg. It features a generous 16-litre fuel tank capacity and offers an impressive mileage of approximately 50 kmpl. It comes with a top speed reaching up to 114 km/h. The front wheel has a 90/90-17 tyre size with a disc brake, while the rear wheel boasts a 120/70-R17 tyre size also featuring a disc brake.

The new version of TVS Apache RTR 160 2V price in Nepal is NRs. 3.05 Lakhs. It comes at a price that's Rs. 15,000 higher compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it will be offered in a singular variant. It comes in five different colour options including White, Matte Blue, Black, Gloss Red, and Grey. The TVS Apache RTR 160 2V finds itself in direct competition with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 (BS4).
