Thrilling Announcement: Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV Launched in Nepal

Mahindra has launched its highly anticipated XUV400 Electric SUV in Nepal. Agni Mahindra, the sole distributor of Mahindra electric vehicles in Nepal, has officially announced the debut of the Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV in the Nepalese market. The XUV400 will be available in a single version known as the EL Pro. The XUV400 launch in Nepal responds to the rising demand for electric vehicles in the country's booming market, offering an eco-friendly choice and expanding Mahindra's vehicle lineup. This electric SUV comes with cutting-edge technology, robust design, and impressive performance. 

One of the standout features of the Mahindra XUV400 is its impressive performance. It is powered by a 110 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) that generates a max power of 110kW (150PS) and a max torque of 310 Nm. It comes with high-capacity lithium-ion batteries available in 39.4 kWh. According to the modified Indian driving cycle (MIDC), this battery provides a range of 456 kilometres. Charging from 0% to 100% takes 6 hours and 30 minutes using a 7.2 kW AC charger. With a 50 kW DC charger, it can achieve 80% capacity in just 50 minutes for quicker charging. It features a top-notch dust and waterproof battery pack that meets IP67 standards.

Mahindra has equipped the XUV400 with an array of advanced features. In terms of features, it gets projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED taillights, LED indicators, steering-mounted audio controls, 12V power outlets, a push start-stop button, fabric upholstery, keyless entry, climate control, power-foldable ORVMs, electric sunroof, wireless charging, dual-tone interiors, diamond cut alloy wheels and many other amenities. It also gets a 10.25-inch infotainment display and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster that displays various features such as distance to empty, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, android auto, apple carplay and connected car technology.

The Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV sets a new standard in safety. It offers a robust safety package, including multiple airbags (passenger, side, curtain), ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution, central locking, automatic headlamps, OTA updates, rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring, hill assist, and other advanced safety features. The vehicle is equipped with six speakers and offers radio, USB, and Bluetooth functionalities. It includes conveniences like air conditioning, heating, a rear wiper and washer, a rear defogger, and front and rear armrests with storage.

The Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV boasts dimensions of 4200 mm in length, 1821 mm in width, and 1634 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2600 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 200 mm and has a kerb weight of 1578 kg. Additionally, it provides ample storage with a generous 378-litre boot space. It achieves the 0-100 kmph milestone in just 8.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 150 kmph. It features all-disc brakes, with front tyres sized at 205/65 R16 and rear tyres also sized at 205/65 R16. The suspension is handled by a combination of McPherson Strut paired with an Anti-Roll Bar, along with a Twist Beam featuring Coil Springs.

The Mahindra XUV400 EV price in Nepal is NRs. 52.50 Lakhs. It comes with a selection of five vibrant colours: Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue, with the additional option of a dual-tone roof in Satin Copper. It also includes three drive modes (Fun, Fast, and Fearless) along with a unique single-pedal drive mode called 'Lively mode', designed to simplify driving in heavy traffic conditions. It will compete against the Tata Nexon EV Max in Nepal.
