The highly anticipated New Seres 3 Electric SUV has officially launched in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorised distributor of Seres electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal, has introduced the latest iteration of the Seres 3 EV in Nepal. This updated Seres 3 represents a refreshed version of its predecessor model. Despite the recent tax hikes affecting electric vehicles, Seres has decided to keep the pricing unchanged for the updated model. The latest iteration features the same electric motor and core features, with subtle design updates distinguishing it from its predecessors.

The updated Seres 3 sports a fresh exterior design that gives it a more standout and robust look. It comes with a redesigned front bumper featuring 'Seres' lettering instead of the logo. The vertical daytime running lights (DRLs) are now integrated beneath the headlights, adding a modern touch. The elevated front-end design and sharp lines are paired with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED lights both in the front and rear. It boasts a 10.25-inch digital meter console and touchscreen infotainment system. It features wireless phone charging, electrically adjustable seats, and a panoramic sunroof for enhanced comfort and convenience.

The new Seres 3 comes packed with a range of exciting features: it includes a dashcam and GPS navigation with offline access, a first in its segment. Drivers can enjoy multi-steering modes (Comfort, Normal, and Sports) for different driving preferences, along with advanced safety features like lane departure and front collision warning. Inside, it offers heated front seats with 6-way adjustable driver and co-driver seats, electrically adjustable outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), one-touch powered windows, and the widest sunroof available in its class.

The new Seres 3 prioritizes safety with a comprehensive suite of advanced features. This includes 6 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), emergency brake assist/electronic brakeforce distribution (EBA/EBD), a traction control system (TCS), a 360-degree camera, auto hold, cruise control, hill launch assist, hill descent control, and more, ensuring a secure and confident driving experience. This groundbreaking vehicle promises not only eco-friendly transportation but also modern safety technology all at the same price.

Seres 3 is an electric subcompact SUV powered by the same 99 kW PMSM motor that generates a max power of 163 PS and max torque of 300 Nm. It is equipped with a 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The battery achieves a complete charge within 9 hours using a 6.6kW Charger. Additionally, it boasts an impressive range of 320 kilometres on a single charging cycle, based on the WLTP standard. Additionally, it boasts compatibility with 147kW DC fast charging, effectively reducing the charging duration to less than thirty minutes.

The Seres 3 Electric SUV dimensions are as follows: it spans 4385mm in length, 1850mm in width, and stands 1650mm tall, with a wheelbase measuring 2655mm. It maintains a ground clearance of 190mm and weighs 1765 Kg. The storage capacity amounts to 525 litres, expandable to 1410 litres. The SUV is equipped with 18-inch wheels, featuring front and rear tyre discs sized at 225/55R18, and includes a spare tyre for added convenience. The Seres 3 achieves a top speed of 160 kilometres per hour, accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 8.9 seconds.

The Seres 3 facelift will come in two versions: Comfort, available at a price of NRs 49.99 Lakh, and Premium, priced at NRs 52.99 Lakh. It's important to note that despite these variant updates, the overall price of the Seres 3 electric vehicle in Nepal remains unchanged as previously mentioned. It is available in a variety of striking colours, including Red, White, Black, and Blue. It will compete against the likes of MG ZS EV and Tata Nexon EV in Nepal. This new electric vehicle symbolizes a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a brighter future.
