This all-electric SUV is not just a vehicle; it’s a statement of sustainability, advanced technology, and futuristic design.
The XUV400 Electric is powered by a robust electric motor that promises a powerful performance and impressive range. The XUV400 will come in two versions: EC Pro and EL Pro. It delivers an impressive 110kW (150PS) of power and a torque of 310 Nm, making it a top performer in its class. It comes with high-capacity lithium-ion batteries available in 39.4 kWh and 34.5 kWh variants. According to the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC), these batteries provide ranges of 456 kilometres and 375 kilometres, respectively.
Mahindra has equipped the XUV400 Electric with a host of advanced features to enhance the driving experience. In terms of features, it is equipped with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED taillights, LED indicators, steering-mounted audio controls, 12V power outlets, a push start-stop button, fabric upholstery, keyless entry, climate control, power-foldable ORVMs, and many other amenities. It also gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that displays various features such as distance to empty, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, android auto, apple carplay and connected car technology.
Mahindra has always been known for its safety and the XUV400 Electric is no exception. In terms of safety, it features multiple airbags, including passenger, side, and curtain airbags, ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, central locking, automatic headlamps, over-the-air (OTA) updates, a rear parking sensor, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill assist, and many other safety enhancements. The vehicle comes equipped with six speakers along with radio, USB, and Bluetooth capabilities. It also features amenities such as air conditioning, heating, a rear washer and wiper, a rear defogger, and front and rear armrests with storage.
The Mahindra XUV400 electric's dimensions are recorded as follows: its length spans 4200 mm, width measures 1821 mm, height stands at 1634 mm, and it has a wheelbase of 2600 mm. The trunk capacity is 378 litres, with 5 doors and seating for 5 passengers. It achieves the 0-100 kmph milestone in just 8.3 seconds, making it the quickest in its category, and can achieve a top speed of 150 kmph. It features all-disc brakes, with front tyres sized at 205/65 R16 and rear tyres also sized at 205/65 R16.
The price of the Mahindra XUV400 Electric Car in Nepal has not been disclosed yet. It will offer a selection of five vibrant colours: Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue, with the additional option of a dual-tone roof in Satin Copper. It also includes three drive modes (Fun, Fast, and Fearless) along with a unique single-pedal drive mode called 'Lively mode', designed to simplify driving in heavy traffic conditions.
