Hero MotoCorp launched its latest marvel, the Hero Xoom 110 in Nepal. CG Motors, the recently appointed official distributor of Hero bikes and scooters in Nepal, has officially introduced its first 110cc BS6-compliant scooter, the Hero Xoom 110, into the Nepalese market. It stands out as one of Hero's pioneering products to undergo assembly in Nepal. With its sleek design, powerful engine, and cutting-edge features, the Hero Xoom 110 is set to revolutionise the Nepalese auto industry. It will be offered in two variants, distinguished mainly by their braking systems.


When it comes to performance, the Hero Xoom 110 leaves no stone unturned. It is powered by a 110.9cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled FI, BS6 engine that generates a max power of 8 PS at 7250rpm and a max torque of 8.70Nm at 5250rpm. It is mated to an automatic centrifugal clutch. Like all Hero products, Xoom also comes with the revolutionary i3S technology. It features a telescopic hydraulic shock absorber paired with a spring-loaded hydraulic damper. It offers a braking system with the option of either a disc or drum setup, complemented by a Combine Braking System. 


The first thing that catches your eye about the Hero Xoom 110 is its captivating design and modern features. In terms of features, it boasts a signature H-shaped projector LED headlamp, halogen side indicators, LED taillamp, USB charger, and a range of other amenities. Additionally, it features an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth Connectivity, delivering essential information such as Caller ID, Real-Time Mileage, Low Fuel indication, SMS Alert, and other useful details.


The Hero Xoom 110 is offered in two variants in the Nepalese market: DRSC and DRZC. The DRSC represents the middle-tier model featuring cast wheels, drum brakes, i3S technology, a digital display, an expanded rear tyre, a USB charging port, and a boot light. The DRZC is positioned as the top-tier variant that comes equipped with cast alloy wheels, disc brakes, i3S technology, a Bluetooth-enabled digital display, a wider rear tyre, a USB charging port, a boot light, and cornering lights for enhanced visibility. 


The Hero Xoom comes with compact dimensions, measuring 1881 mm in length, 731 mm in width, and 1118 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1300 mm. With a ground clearance of 155 mm and a kerb weight of 109 kg, it's designed for agility and stability. It also offers ample storage with a spacious 19.2-litre under-seat compartment. The fuel tank of the Xoom holds 5.2 litres, providing an impressive mileage of approximately 45 to 50 kilometres per litre. It comes with a maximum speed of 87 km/h. 


The Hero Xoom price in Nepal is NRs. 2.49 Lakhs for the DRSC variant and NRs. 2.59 Lakhs for the DRZC variants. It is available in five different colour options: Black, Matte Abrax Orange, Sports Red, Polyester Blue, and Pearl Silver White. Hero Xoom rivals the Honda Dio in the Nepalese market. With its unparalleled performance, rugged design, and innovative features, the Xoom 110 is poised to redefine the way Nepalese riders experience the thrill of the open road.
