Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the 2024 iteration of the Hero XPulse 200 4V in Nepal. CG Motors, the newly appointed authorised distributor of Hero motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, has introduced yet another addition to its lineup with the official launch of the XPulse 200 4V. This follows closely on the heels of the recent introduction of the Xoom 110. It remains among the highly anticipated dual-sport motorcycles in the market. This latest iteration of the bike has undergone a series of significant upgrades.
The 2024 XPulse 4V boasts a range of new features including a projector headlamp with H-shaped DRLs, an updated LED taillamp, three ABS modes, a rally-style windshield, enhanced knuckle guards, closed-loop hand guards, a luggage plate, a USB charging port, and much more. Additionally, it features an updated digital instrument console that offers smartphone connectivity, including turn-by-turn navigation and displaying a variety of information. It retains the integrated start and engine kill switch as seen previously.
The mechanical performance of the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V remains unchanged. It is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled FI engine that generates a max power of 19.1PS at 8500rpm and a max torque of 17.35Nm at 6500rpm. The engine remains unchanged, still adhering to BS6 standards with a 5-speed gearbox. It's equipped with dual-disc brakes, complemented by a single-channel ABS. The suspension duties are managed by a 37mm Telescopic system with an Anti-Friction Bush at the front and a Monoshock with 10-step adjustability at the rear.
The 2024 Hero XPulse 200 4V boasts dimensions, measuring 2222mm in length, 850mm in width, and 1258mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1410mm. It offers ample ground clearance at 220mm with a kerb weight of 159kg. The seat height retains its 825 mm stance. It comes with a front tyre size of 90/90 21-inch and a rear tyre size of 120/80 19-inch. The fuel tank holds 13 litres, offering a mileage of 35-40 kmpl. Its maximum speed reaches up to 115 kilometres per hour. The bike is equipped with a 12-volt, 6-ampere-hour ETZ-7 MF battery.
The Hero XPulse 200 4V price in Nepal is NRs. 4.54 lakhs. It now comes with an NRs. 4,900 price hike compared to its previous version. It comes in a single variant, available in three distinct colours: red, black, and blue. It also features a bolder design, accompanied by body-coloured mirrors for added visual appeal. It will compete with the Honda NX 200 in Nepal. As a result, the Hero XPulse 200 2V BS4 model has been formally discontinued in the Nepali market.
