Ather Energy has launched the much-anticipated Ather 450S electric scooter in Nepal. Vaidya Energy, the official distributor of Ather scooters in Nepal, has broadened its range by introducing the latest addition, the Ather 450S. Following the successful launch of the Ather 450X electric scooter in Nepal a few months ago, Ather Energy has unveiled another innovative product. It flaunts a design similar to the top-tier 450X but with slightly less fancy features and performance.

The Ather 450S Electric Scooter delivers exceptional performance with its smooth acceleration, agile handling, and impressive range. It is powered by a 5.4kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 5.4kW and a max torque of 22 Nm. It is equipped with a 2.9kWh Lithium-Ion battery. It takes 6 hours and 36 minutes to charge from 0% to 80%. The certified range is 115 kilometres (with a real range of 90 kilometres).

The Ather 450S features dual-disc brakes incorporating regenerative braking and a combined braking system. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks and symmetrically mounted progressive monoshock. The Pro Pack is included as a standard feature, offering essential functionalities such as fallSafe, ESS, coasting regen, side stand sensor, ride assist, and auto hold. However, it doesn't include any connectivity features.

In the age of smart technology, the Ather 450S is at the forefront with its modern features. It comes equipped with an LED headlamp featuring LED daytime running lights (DRLs), along with a single-strip LED tail light that incorporates indicators. These indicators have an auto-cut-off feature. One of the standout features of the Ather 450S is its 7-inch touchscreen dashboard. It offers features like onboard navigation, remote diagnostics, and over-the-air updates. 

The Ather 450X boasts dimensions of 1891 mm in length, 739 mm in width, and 1114 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1296 mm. It offers a ground clearance of 170 mm and has a kerb weight of 108 kg. Additionally, it features a spacious 22-litre under-seat storage compartment. The Ather 450S accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds. It is equipped with tubeless tyres, boasting a tyre size of 90/90-12. It is equipped with a snapdragon 212 quad-core processor 800Mhz, alongside 8GB of ROM and 1GB of RAM. 

The Ather 450S price in Nepal starts at NRs. 3.50 lakhs. It is available in a range of captivating colours including space grey, still white, salt green, and cosmic black. Ather Energy Nepal provides a warranty of three years or up to 30,000 kilometres on the battery, scooter, and Ather Portable Charger for the Ather 450S model. The launch of the Ather 450S in Nepal is more than just a new product release; it's a step towards a more sustainable and technologically advanced future.
