Yamaha Motor is all set to launch the new maxi-scooter Aerox 155  in Nepal. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes and scooters in Nepal, has officially opened the booking for the Aerox 155 maxi-scooter in the Nepalese market. According to the company, the Aerox 155 is set to be launched in mid-April and is now available for booking with a down payment of NRs. 5,000. It is a powerful maxi-scooter designed for riders who demand both style and performance. It has quickly become a popular choice for commuters and urban riders alike, thanks to its combination of sleek styling, smooth handling, and efficient engine.

The Yamaha Aerox has used the same engine as the YZF-R15 and will make it the most powerful scooter in Nepal. It is powered by the Yamaha R15 V3-sourced 155 cc, VVA-equipped engine that generates a max power of 14.7bhp @8,000rpm and a max torque of 13.9Nm @6,500rpm, mated to a CVT transmission. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Yamaha Aerox 155 comes up with a single-channel anti-lock braking system. It is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter also comes equipped with Yamaha's Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, which optimizes engine performance at both low and high speeds.

With its sleek design, the Aerox 155 is an excellent choice. The scooter features an aggressive front fascia with sharp lines and a bold Yamaha logo. In addition to the standard colours, it is also available in Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Editions. While it doesn’t have any direct rivals, once launched in Nepal it will go up against the Aprilia SXR 160.
