The Nepalese automotive industry is rapidly moving towards electric vehicles, and the 2023 MG ZS EV is a prime example of this shift. MG Motor is all set to launch the 2023 ZS EV in Nepal. Paramount Motors PVT. LTD, the authorized distributor of MG vehicles in Nepal, has officially opened the booking for the 2023 MG ZS EV. According to the company, the MG ZS EV is set to be launched by the end of April and is now available for booking with a down payment of NRs. 1.00 lakhs. This EV has been making waves with its impressive features, stylish design, and affordable price point. The new electric car is available in two variants including Comfort and Deluxe.
The new EV is available in only one battery pack option. The MG ZS EV is powered by a 51kWh battery pack that provides a range of up to 320 km on a single charge. It takes around 6-8 hours to charge via a 7kW charger, and 0-80% in 30 minutes and 36 minutes via a 50kW and 100kW charger. It also features a 99kW electric motor that produces 156 PS power and 280 Nm of torque. The ZS EV can go from 0 to 60mph in just 8.2 seconds, making it a fun and responsive car to drive. The new ZS EV comes with a 470-litre boot space, which can be extended up to 1100 litres and has a ground clearance of 177 mm.
The MG ZS EV has a sleek and modern design that sets it apart from other SUVs on the market. It is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio and Bluetooth. It is also equipped with a 7-inch digital driver’s display instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, Keyless entry and start, Six-speaker 3D sound system, Six-way driver and four-way front passenger electrical adjustable leather power seats with heating, Two ISOFIX child seat anchorage points (outer rear seats), 60/40 folding rear seats, Roof rails, Power-folding, projector headlamp, sleek LED DRLs, sunroof, powered driver’s seat, new climate control switches and a new integrated body-coloured front grille.
The MG ZS EV is also equipped with some advanced safety features that make it a pleasure to drive. It comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, energy-absorbing bollards, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. The car also has a range of advanced driver assistance systems such as lane departure warning, high beam assist, and hill hold control. The car also gets more features like Head-Up Display (HUD), a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and drive modes among others. It features a spacious cabin with comfortable seating for up to five passengers.
As mentioned earlier, the 2023 MG ZS EV is available in two different variants - Comfort and Deluxe. MG ZS EV Comfort price in Nepal is NRs. 48.49 lakhs while MG ZS EV Deluxe price in Nepal is NRs. 52.49 lakhs. It is now available for booking with a down payment of NRs. 1.00 lakhs and comes with an 8-year warranty for battery. It is available in 3 different colours including currant red, ferris white, and copenhagen blue.
