The Citroen C3 has been officially launched. Shangrila Motors, the authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal, is also set to introduce its second SUV for the Nepalese market in the coming days. Pre-bookings for the Citroen C3 in Nepal are set to open in the coming days as well. Citroen C3 is essentially a subcompact SUV but the company officially terms it a ‘hatchback with a twist’. The car will be offered in two variants, Live and Feel. Citroen says that deliveries for the new C3 will commence shortly and additionally be available across all Citroen showrooms in Nepal.

The Citroen C3 is powered by two 1.2-liter Puretech petrol engines. The first one comes with a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol motor that generates 81 bhp and 115 Nm while mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Then is the 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 108 bhp and 190 Nm of peak torque, while being mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. As for fuel efficiency, the 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol motor offers 19.8 kmpl, while the turbo petrol option offers 19.4 kmpl. 

The Citroen C3 is built on the company's C-Cubed platform, which comes with a completely new design, and modern features. The C3 gets a stick-out infotainment display with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, and three USB sockets, a 12V socket, and a smartphone clamp. It also gets a matte-black front grille, glossy-black ORVMs, halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, fender-mounted turn indicators, roof antenna, and dual-tone shade as optional.

In terms of features, the new Citroen C3 is ensured by dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors. Citroen C3 is available in four different colors: Orange, White, Silver, and Black. It is also available in six different Dual-Tone color options. Citroen C3 might be showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2022 and the price announcement of the C3 is likely to take place on the same day.
