The much-awaited 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been officially launched. The new Vitara Brezza gets a major new design, plenty of new features, and an updated petrol engine with a new automatic transmission. CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, is set to introduce its facelift version of Vitara Brezza in the Nepalese market. Pre-bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in Nepal are also set to open in the coming days. 2022 Vitara Brezza deliveries will commence shortly and additionally will be available across all Maruti showrooms in Nepal.

The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift is powered by the 1.5-liter petrol motor that generates a maximum power of 102 bhp at 6000 rpm and 134 Nm of peak torque at 4400 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual along with a 6-speed automatic and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. The new motor comes with the brand's mild-hybrid SHVS technology which aims to improve fuel efficiency and lower emissions on the subcompact SUV. Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel-efficiency figure of 17.03 kmpl on the petrol manual and 18.76 kmpl on the petrol automatic version.

The new Brezza comes with a sleeker front grille and edgier LED headlamps, new LED daytime running lights and LED projector lens, LED fog lamps with new housing and auto-folding ORVMs, 9-inch infotainment unit, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, and paddle shifters (AT variants). It also gets a head-up display, a single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a 360-degree camera. The new Brezza’s safety feature includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki is offering the Vitara Brezza facelift in four trims - LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. Vitara Brezza facelift might be showcased at the NADA Auto Show 2022 and the price announcement of the new Brezza is likely to take place on the same day. The Vitara Brezza facelift price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 50 Lakhs - NRs. 60 lakhs. Maruti’s sub-compact SUV will compete against the likes of Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue.
