Hero MotoCorp has officially launched a new variant of its Xoom scooter, named the Combat Edition. CG Motors, the authorized distributor for Hero bikes and scooters in Nepal, recently introduced, the Xoom 110 in Nepal a few months ago. Building on this momentum, they are preparing to introduce a new variant, the Xoom Combat Edition, in the coming days. However, the specific launch date and price for this new edition have not yet been announced.

The Xoom Combat Edition is built on the top-spec ZX variant of Hero's sporty scooter. What sets it apart is the unique ‘Matte Shadow Grey’ colour scheme, featuring a grey base highlighted with yellow and black accents. This special edition colour is inspired by the shades seen on fighter jets. Unfortunately, the ZX variant isn't available in the Nepalese market at the moment. Let's hope Hero launches it here soon.

Aside from its unique colour scheme, the Xoom Combat Edition shares the same mechanics as the other models in the lineup. It is powered by a 110.9cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled FI, BS6 engine that generates a max power of 8.2 Bhp at 7250rpm and a max torque of 8.70Nm at 5250rpm. Like all Hero products, Xoom also comes with the revolutionary i3S technology. The suspension is handled by a telescopic hydraulic shock absorber paired with a spring-loaded hydraulic damper. It offers a braking system with the option of either a disc or drum setup, complemented by a Combine Braking System.

The Hero Xoom Combat Edition commands attention with its striking design and modern features. In terms of features, it is equipped with a signature H-shaped projector LED headlamp, halogen side indicators, LED taillamp, USB charger, and a range of other amenities. Additionally, it features an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth Connectivity, delivering essential information such as Caller ID, Real-Time Mileage, Low Fuel indication, SMS Alert, and other useful details.

The Hero Xoom is designed with compact dimensions, measuring 1881 mm in length, 731 mm in width, and 1118 mm in height, with a 1300 mm wheelbase. Its 155 mm ground clearance and 109 kg weight make it agile and stable. It features a spacious 19.2-litre under-seat storage compartment. The fuel tank holds 5.2 litres, offering an impressive mileage of around 45 to 50 kilometres per litre and a top speed of 87 km/h.

The Hero Xoom 110 is offered in two variants in the Nepalese market: DRSC and DRZC. But now, with the launch of the Combat Edition, there will be three options available for riders to choose from. The DRSC, a mid-tier model, boasts cast wheels, drum brakes, i3S tech, a digital display, a wider rear tyre, a USB port, and a boot light. Positioned as the top-tier variant, the DRZC offers alloy wheels, disc brakes, i3S tech, Bluetooth display, wider rear tyre, USB port, boot light, and cornering lights. Stay tuned for more updates on the exciting features of the Combat Edition.

The Hero Xoom price in Nepal starts at NRs. 2.49 lakhs. The price of the Hero Xoom Combat Edition in Nepal is expected to be higher than that of its current model. Hero Xoom rivals the Honda Dio in the Nepalese market. Stay tuned, because the Hero Xoom Combat Edition is about to redefine what it means to ride with power, style, and confidence.
