Bajaj Auto has recently launched the Platina 110 ABS across certain Asian markets. HH Bajaj, the authorized distributor of Bajaj bikes in Nepal is also set to launch the Platina 110 ABS in Nepal. The commuter motorcycle becomes the first model in the 100-115cc segment to feature ABS. Under the latest regulation, motorcycles with an engine capacity of over 125cc are mandated to have ABS, while those with smaller engines can have CBS. Hence, It is pleasant to witness Bajaj surpass the recent guidelines by incorporating ABS into a 110cc motorcycle, prioritizing safety.

In addition to the single-channel ABS, Bajaj has also equipped the Platina 110 with a new digital speedometer. The new instrument panel features an ABS indicator, a gear position indicator, and a gear change indicator. The updated motorcycle also comes with LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, new mirrors, and handguards for added protection. It is also equipped with quilted seats, a Nitrox spring-on-spring suspension as well as tubeless tyres for better ride and comfort. The bike's body graphics are also tastefully designed and add to its sporty look.

The Bajaj Platina 110 continues to use the same engine as its predecessor. It is powered by a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates a maximum power of 8.4 bhp at 7,000 RPM and 9.81 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Braking duties are covered by a disc at the front with a single-channel anti-lock braking system and a drum at the rear. It gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. The bike's fuel efficiency is impressive, making it an economical choice for those who use their bikes for daily commutes.

The new 2023 Bajaj Platina 110 ABS price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 2.50 lakhs. The motorcycle gets three new colour options - Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, and Saffire Blue. Once launched in Nepal, it will compete against the likes of the TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor iSmart, Hero Passion Pro, and Honda CD 110 Dream. The Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is a well-rounded bike that ticks all the boxes for riders who are looking for performance, safety, comfort, style, and affordability.
