Tata Motors is all set to launch the all-new micro SUV Tata Punch in Nepal. Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Tata vehicles in Nepal, is all set to launch the all-new micro SUV Tata Punch in the Nepalese market. Tata will open bookings for the new micro SUV Punch in the coming days with deliveries to commence shortly. The launch date and price of this car in Nepal have not been confirmed by the company yet. The Tata Punch is the first Tata SUV to be underpinned by the ALFA-ARC (Agile Light Flexible Advanced Architecture) platform and is based on the brand's Impact 2.0 design language.

The Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated, Revotron petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine has been updated with the Dyna Pro system to optimize air pressure for better low-end torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and while the five-speed AMT unit is optional on the top three variants – Adventure, Accomplished and Creative. It offers a high ground clearance of 187 mm and 365 mm water wading capacity.

In terms of the design, the Tata Punch Micro SUV is equipped with LED daytime time running lamps (DRLs), projector headlights, squarish LED taillights, a 7-inch touchscreen system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, auto AC, automatic headlights, connected car tech (Creative i-RA pack), 16-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels and roof rails. It also gets dual airbags, an antilock braking system (ABS), and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) as standard. The new SUV scored a full 5-Star rating in adult occupant safety and a 4-Star rating in child occupant safety.  It also offers 366 liters of boot space.

The Tata Punch is available in four variants: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative, and in seven colors: Orcus White, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Atomic Orange, Meteor Bronze, Tornado Blue, and Calypso Red. We expect the Tata Punch price in Nepal to start just under the NRs. 30 lakhs mark. Tata Punch will rival the likes of the Ford Freestyle, Mahindra KUV100, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis in the Nepalese market.
