Hero MotoCorp gears to unveil its latest offering, the Hero Xtreme 125R in Nepal. CG Motors, the exclusive authorized distributor for Hero MotoCorp in Nepal, is gearing up to launch the Hero Xtreme 125R sporty commuter motorcycle at the forthcoming NADA Auto Show 2024. This launch signifies Hero's foray into the fiercely competitive 125cc sporty segment in Nepal. This event, renowned for showcasing cutting-edge innovations and futuristic vehicles, will serve as the perfect platform for Hero MotoCorp to introduce its newest addition to the Xtreme lineup.
The Hero Xtreme series has long been synonymous with style, performance, and reliability. It is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, that generates a maximum power of 11.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a max torque of 10.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. It is equipped with 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It comes with front disc brakes and offers the choice of either a drum or disc brake at the rear. It also includes single-channel ABS and Hero's IBS, their version of CBS.
Hero MotoCorp is known for integrating advanced technology into its motorcycles, and the Xtreme 125R is no exception. In terms of features, it boasts full LED lighting with a sleek full-LED headlamp, LED taillamp, and LED side indicators. Its sporty side profile boasts a muscular fuel tank and sharp extensions, complemented by a split-seat rear. The bike comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that provides all the necessary information at a glance, including speed, fuel level, trip meter, and more.
The Xtreme 125R measures 2009mm in length, 793mm in width, and 1051mm in height, with a 1319mm wheelbase and a 794mm seat height. It offers a ground clearance of 180mm and weighs 136 kg. Equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, it features 90/90 - 17 TL front tyres and 120/80 - 17 TL rear tyres. Hero claims that the Xtreme 125R boasts a fuel efficiency rating of 66 kilometres per litre (kmpl) and is equipped with a fuel tank that can hold up to 10 litres of fuel. Its dimensions also play a crucial role in defining its character and appeal.
The price of the Hero Xtreme 125R in Nepal will be announced during the NADA Auto Show 2024. It comes in a choice of three colour options - blue with silver, black and red with black. Once launched in Nepal it will compete against the likes of the TVS Raider, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and the Honda SP125.
