CG Motors, the official distributor for XPeng, will introduce another electric car, the XPeng G6, to the Nepalese market in the coming days. XPeng, a Chinese vehicle manufacturer founded in 2014, has quickly made its mark by producing five different vehicles in a relatively short period. Since 2021, the company has also expanded its presence in Europe.

The G6 marks XPeng's first vehicle to be introduced in Nepal. Built on the SEPA 2.0 platform, a versatile foundation created by XPeng, the G6 can support various vehicle types, such as sedans, coupes, SUVs, and even pick-up trucks. The G6 is the inaugural model utilizing SEPA 2.0. This platform also shortens XPeng’s research and development cycle by 20%, bolstering its competitive advantage in the automotive market.

Internationally, the XPeng G6 is offered in three variants: RWD Standard Range, RWD Long Range, and AWD Performance. For the Nepalese market, it is anticipated that the RWD Long Range version will be introduced. The official launch is expected at the forthcoming NADA Auto Show 2024.  The XPeng G6 promises to redefine the electric SUV segment with its cutting-edge technology, impressive range, and sleek design.

One of the most compelling aspects of the XPeng G6 is its impressive performance. It offers a 570 km range and can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 13 hours using a 7.2 kW AC charger. A 60 kW DC charger can charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 1 hour.

XPeng has always been at the forefront of integrating advanced technology into its vehicles, and the G6 is no exception. In terms of features, it includes LED projector headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillights, LED side indicators, a panoramic glass sunroof, four USB ports, two wireless charging points, an 18-speaker audio system, over-the-air updates, heated and ventilated front seats, and more. The dashboard boasts a highly responsive 15-inch central screen and a 10.2-inch instrument cluster.

The XPeng G6 Electric Vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive array of safety features, including 7 airbags, 2 LiDAR radars, 5 millimeter-wave sensors, and 12 cameras. It also offers advanced collision prevention, lane centring, lane change assistance, and lane departure warning. The vehicle features dual-zone climate control with a pollen filter and a heat pump, enhancing comfort. Additional safety systems include blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and the XPILOT 4.0 autonomous driving system.

The XPeng G6 measures 4753 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 1650 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2890 mm. It features a ground clearance of 160 mm and has a kerb weight of 2095 kg.
