Hyundai Motors is all set to launch the much-awaited Grand i10 Nios Facelift in Nepal. Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal will soon begin accepting reservations for the new Grand i10, with deliveries to start shortly afterwards. The hatchback will be available in a total of 4 variants – Era, Magna, Magna AMT and Sportz. The facelifted version of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes with a new and improved exterior, which has a sleek design and gives the car a modern look. The refreshed Nios also gets styling updates to the interior and a more streamlined engine line-up.
All variants of Nios Facelift are powered by the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine good for 82 bhp and 113.8 Nm of peak torque paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Era and Magna variant onwards gets the option of a 5-speed AMT unit while the Magna AMT and Sportz can also be optioned with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The Nios CNG is also powered by a 1.2-litre unit but develops a lower 68 bhp and 95.2 Nm when burning CNG. The Nios CNG is only available with a manual gearbox. Both of these engines are designed to deliver good fuel efficiency and a smooth driving experience.
The interior of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift has been given a modern touch with the use of premium materials and comfortable seating. On the comfort and convenience front, it is equipped with a new instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with smartphone integration, keyless go, cruise control, auto climate control, auto headlamps, wireless charging, Type-C USB charging ports, a tyre pressure monitoring system and more. The back seat area provides ample room for two passengers, and the trunk has a capacity of 260 litres, allowing for ample storage space even for large luggage.
The updated version of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios features a new front bumper with a revised grille design while the distinctive boomerang-shaped daytime running lights have been swapped with new Y-shaped LED lights. The front fog lamps have been removed and it boasts updated taillights and a revamped tailgate. The car also comes with new alloy wheels, which add to the overall appearance of the vehicle. There are no changes to the bonnet while the satin-finished Hyundai logo is in place of the 3D chrome one from before. The new updated features give the car a look more stylish and attractive.
The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift is a modern hatchback that boasts several advanced safety features, making it one of the safest cars on the road. The car is now equipped with four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard, ESC, a day/night rearview mirror, and an ISOFIX child seat. The car is available with a dual-tone grey or all-black cabin to finish with either red or green highlights.
