Tata Motors, a pioneer in the Nepalese automotive industry has recently increased the price of its new electric vehicle Tiago in Nepal. Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Tata Vehicles in Nepal, has officially announced the revised pricing for the well-known Tata Tiago Electric Vehicle in the Nepalese market. Tata Motors in Nepal has recently implemented a price increase of NRs. 1.00 lakh for the Tata Tiago Electric Vehicle. Tata Tiago EV price in Nepal starts at NRs. 26.49 Lakhs to NRs. 28.99 Lakhs.

The Tata Tiago Electric Vehicle in Nepal is offered in three editions: XT – Long Range, XZ+ – Long Range, and XZ+ Tech Plus Range. The pricing in Nepal commences at NRs. 26.49 Lakhs for the XT – Long variant, NRs. 27.99 Lakhs for the XZ+ – Long model, and NRs. 28.99 Lakhs for the XZ+ Tech Plus version. Other than the price increase, the car remains unchanged in terms of performance, design, and features.

Tata Tiago EV is powered by a 49.01kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 66 PS and a max torque of 114Nm. It is equipped with a 24 kW lithium Ion battery pack. The battery can be charged from 10% to full (100%) in approximately 8.7 hours using a 15A plug, providing a claimed range of 315 kilometres. The charging duration can be enhanced with a 7.2kW Charger, slashing the total charging time to only 3.6 hours.

Tata Motors has equipped the Tiago EV with cutting-edge technology and modern designs. It has a sleek and modern look, with sharp lines and a sporty profile. It is equipped with projector LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, an LED taillight, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a four-speaker Harman sound system, auto AC, foldable ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, steering-mounted controls, and regenerative braking.

Tata Motors has always prioritized safety, and the Tiago EV is no exception. With advanced safety features and a sturdy build, you can drive with confidence. In terms of safety, it comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, cornering brake control, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear-view camera, electronic stability control, electric-brake force distribution, hill-descent control, hill ascend control and many others.

The suspension is managed by a combination of McPherson Strut and Twist Beam equipped with Coil Spring. It is also equipped with smart 4-mode regenerative braking. It is available in five colour options – Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Midnight Plum and Tropical Mist. Additionally, it comes with various configurations of IP67-rated battery packs, ensuring resistance to water and dust. It also received a 4-star Global NCAP Safety Rating.

In terms of its dimensions, the Tata Tiago EV measures 3769 mm in length, 1677 mm in width, and 1536 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2400 mm. The ground clearance stands at 166 mm, and its kerb weight is recorded at 1235 kg. Additionally, it offers a boot space of 240 litres. The maximum speed it can reach is 120 kilometres per hour. The front tyre size is 175/65 R14 – Disc, whereas the rear tyre size is 175/65 R14 – Drum.

Tata Nepal provides an 8-year warranty for the battery and motor, covering up to 160,000 kilometres, along with a 3-year warranty for the vehicle, extending up to 125,000 kilometres.
