In a grand reveal at the NADA Auto Show 2023, Royal Enfield launched two stunning variants of the Classic 350cc: the Chrome Edition and the Dark Edition. Alpha Automotive, the authorized distributor of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, has revved up the excitement among motorcycle enthusiasts in Nepal with the launch of the Royal Enfield Classic 350cc - Chrome and Dark Edition. With a history spanning over a century, Royal Enfield has not only survived but thrived in the motorcycle industry. The new edition offers enhanced performance, improved dynamics, a wider range of colour choices, and a more robust build quality. It maintains its classic charm but has been entirely redesigned to meet modern expectations, delivering a smooth, refined performance, excellent handling, comfort, and an enjoyable and effortless riding experience.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by the new 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, EFI engine that can generate a max power of 20.2 bhp at 6100rpm and a max torque of 19.9 Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. It comes with a 300mm front disc brake and a 153mm rear drum brake, providing improved braking performance and safety. It features a brand-new chassis designed to instil rider confidence and deliver exceptional comfort. One of the key highlights of the Classic 350cc variants is the improved suspension setup that promises to deliver a smoother and more comfortable ride. The front suspension has been upgraded to telescopic forks with increased travel and the rear suspension is a twin shock absorber setup.
The Classic 350cc is known for its retro design, reminiscent of the British motorcycles of the mid-20th century. The latest edition features a redesigned headlamp, incorporating new pilot lamps, and a fresh tail lamp design that seamlessly integrates a reflector. The updated instrument cluster combines classic retro elements with new features. It features a Digi-Analog speedometer with a 3D trim ring that incorporates an LCD screen at the lower section. This LCD screen displays information such as the Odometer, Trip A and Trip B, Trip F, Fuel level, and Gear Indicator, all complemented by LED-based indication lights (tell tales). A handlebar of Classic 350 features updated ergonomics, fresh grips, rotary switches, an information switch, and an oval-shaped master cylinder. It also now features an expanded seat with plush foam padding, ensuring both the rider and pillion enjoy comfort during city commutes and extended journeys.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350cc Chrome Series, featuring spoke wheels and available in Chrome Red and Chrome Brown, is priced at NRs. 5.30 lakhs while Dark Series, featuring alloy wheels, is now offered in two striking colors: Stealth Black and Gun Metal Grey, with a price tag of NRs. 5.25 lakhs in the Nepalese market. Royal Enfield also offers an extensive range of genuine accessories allowing riders to personalize their motorcycles with unique seats, backrests, luggage racks, and more.
