TVS Motor Company has officially launched the TVS Raider FI in Nepal. Jagadamba Motors, the official distributor of TVS motorcycles in Nepal, has introduced its highly awaited “wicked ride” in a new Fuel Injection version, now featuring a BS6-compliant model. TVS has also unveiled the TVS Ntorq Disc FI and TVS Radeon FI models in Nepal. This latest upgrade to the popular Raider series offers enhanced performance, improved fuel efficiency, and cutting-edge features tailored for Nepali riders. 

In its latest update, the TVS Raider 125 features an Eco-Thrust FI engine, offers multiple riding modes, includes intelligent auto start-stop technology, and comes with a side-stand engine cut-off system. It now boasts a BS6-compliant engine, ensuring it meets stricter emission norms, and offering a cleaner and greener ride. Equipped with a fuel injection system, the Raider 125 FI ensures a smoother throttle response, better fuel efficiency, and improved power delivery. 

TVS Raider is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-oil cooled SI carburettor engine. The FI engine produces a maximum power of 11.38 PS at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. In contrast, the carbureted engine delivers a maximum power of 12.9 PS at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 11.5 Nm at 6000 rpm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension is managed by telescopic front forks and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. It features a front disc and rear drum brake setup, with Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT) included as a standard feature.

The TVS Raider 125 boasts an array of features, including a striking LED headlamp with a distinctive LED taillamp, a robust-looking fuel tank, TVS one-touch start, TVS intelligent auto start-stop technology (available in the FI model), Eco and Power riding modes (in the FI model), a USB charging port, and a wider split seat. The TVS Raider 125 is equipped with a full digital LCD meter that provides a multi-information display. It includes various details such as three trip meters, a distance-to-empty indicator, an Integrated Starter Generator indicator, a gear-shift indicator, and an average speed recorder.

The TVS Raider 125 has the following dimensions: a length of 2070 mm, a width of 785 mm, and a height of 1028 mm. Its wheelbase measures 1326 mm, while the ground clearance stands at 180 mm.  It is equipped with a 10-litre fuel tank, providing an impressive mileage of 67 km/l and an overall riding range of up to 670 km. With a kerb weight of 123 kg, it offers a balance of efficiency and manageability. It comes equipped with 130 mm disc or drum brakes at both the front and rear, 17-inch alloy wheels, and tubeless tyres. The front tyre is sized 80/100 - 17 with a load rating of 46P, while the rear tyre measures 100/90 - 17 with a load rating of 55P.

The TVS Raider 125 price in Nepal starts at NRs. 2.70 lakh for the Carburetor version and NRs. 2.92 lakh for the Fuel Injection version. It is offered in two colours: Red and Black. It is further enhanced with a three-tone colour scheme and a 3D TVS emblem.
