The wait is nearly over for motorcycle enthusiasts as Hero MotoCorp gears up to launch the highly anticipated Hero Xtreme 125R in Nepal. Recently showcased in Nepal, this sporty commuter bike has already garnered significant attention with its dynamic design, modern features, and competitive pricing. According to the company, the Hero Xtreme 125R will soon be available in the Nepalese market, offering a blend of style, power, and practicality that makes it perfect for city commutes and thrilling weekend rides.


Under the hood, the Hero Xtreme 125R is equipped with a powerful engine, offering a balance of fuel efficiency and performance. It is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, that generates a maximum power of 11.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a max torque of 10.5 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a wet multi-plate clutch. It features front disc brakes and offers a rear drum or disc option, along with single-channel ABS and Hero's IBS, their take on CBS.


The Hero Xtreme 125R boasts a sporty, aggressive design with sharp lines and modern features. It is equipped with full LED lighting, featuring a stylish full-LED headlamp, LED taillight, and LED turn indicators. Its sporty side profile is highlighted by a muscular fuel tank with sharp extensions, further enhanced by a split-seat design at the rear. The bike also includes a fully digital instrument cluster, offering essential information at a glance, such as speed, fuel level, trip meter, and more.


The Xtreme 125R has dimensions of 2009mm in length, 793mm in width, and 1051mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 1319mm and a seat height of 794mm. It offers 180mm of ground clearance and weighs 136 kg. The bike is fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels, featuring 90/90 - 17 TL front tyres and 120/80 - 17 TL rear tyres. According to Hero, the Xtreme 125R delivers a fuel efficiency of 66 kilometres per litre (kmpl) and comes with a 10-litre fuel tank. It is equipped with 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.


The price of the Hero Xtreme 125R in Nepal will be announced in the coming days. It is available in three colour options: blue with silver, black, and red with black. Though the official launch date has not been confirmed, the Hero Xtreme 125R is expected to hit the market soon, likely within the next few months.
