The Chinese electric vehicle producer, Hozon Auto, operating under the Neta brand, has officially launched the highly anticipated electric vehicle Neta X in Nepal. CG Motors, the official distributor of Neta electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal, has unveiled its newest electric SUV, marking the brand's second model specifically designed for the Nepalese market. With advanced technology, futuristic design, and a strong focus on sustainability, the Neta X EV aims to set new standards for eco-friendly driving in Nepal.

In addition, the Neta X is offered in three variants: Comfort, Comfort Long Range, and Luxury. Although all three versions are equipped with the same 100kW motor, they vary in battery capacity and some premium features. It is powered by a 100kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 135PS and a max torque of 210Nm. It is offered in two battery pack options: one with a 52 kWh capacity providing a range of 400 kilometres, and another with a 62 kWh capacity of 501 kilometres. 

As previously noted, the Neta X Electric Vehicle is available with two battery options: a 52kWh battery and a larger 62kWh battery. Fully charging the 52kWh battery usually takes about 16.6 hours, while the 62kWh battery requires around 19.8 hours. However, a 7.2kW charger can drastically cut the charging time to just 7 to 9 hours. Moreover, the Neta X also supports fast DC charging. The WLTP range is approximately 323km for the 400 Comfort and 410km for the 500 Comfort and Luxury variants.

The Neta X EV is a compact crossover SUV that showcases a sleek and aerodynamic design with modern features. This EV comes equipped with advanced lighting systems, featuring full LED lighting, including LED headlights paired with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). It also sports a unique split-type LED tail light with a horizontal LED strip. Furthermore, it includes an 8.9-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch LCD, powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip, offering a wealth of information right at your fingertips.

The Neta X comes equipped with an array of safety features that ensure peace of mind for drivers and passengers alike. The features include automatic climate control for maximum comfort, advanced ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) for improved braking efficiency, and a rear parking camera to aid in navigating tight spaces. Additional safety upgrades include multiple airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), cornering stability control (CSC), hill assist (HA), and various other features.

The Neta X features dimensions of 4619mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1628mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2770mm and a ground clearance of 185mm. Weighing 1740kg, it provides a generous boot space of 500 litres. The Neta X EV can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds. Both the front and rear tyres are sized at 225/60 R18 and are equipped with disc brakes. It also comes with spacious 18-inch alloy wheels (225/60 R18).

The Neta X price in Nepal is NRs. 53.99 Lakhs for Comfort, NRs. 57.99 Lakhs for Comfort Long Range, and NRs. 62.99 Lakhs for Luxury. The Neta X comes with an 8-year warranty (or 150,000 km) for both the battery and the motor. The official Neta showroom is situated in Thapathali, Kathmandu.
