Neta X Electric Vehicle Bookings Open in Nepal: Price Officially Revealed

The Chinese electric vehicle producer, Hozon Auto, operating under the Neta brand, has commenced bookings for its latest electric model, the Neta X in Nepal. CG Motors, the official distributor of Neta electric vehicles (EVs) in Nepal, has revealed the commencement of pre-orders for its latest electric SUV, marking the brand's second offering tailored for the Nepalese market. Neta X represents an evolution from the U Pro, boasting refined aesthetics and upgraded features. Neta X EV is poised to redefine mobility while preserving the pristine beauty of Nepal's environment.


The Neta X is no slouch when it comes to performance. It is powered by a 100kW permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates a max power of 135PS and a max torque of 210Nm. It is offered in two battery pack options: one with a 52 kWh capacity providing a range of 400 kilometres, and another with a 62 kWh capacity offering a range of 501 kilometres. It comes equipped with a 3.3kW AC charger. 


As mentioned earlier,  the Neta X Electric Vehicle comes with two battery options: a 52kWh battery and a larger 62kWh battery. Charging the 52kWh battery to full capacity typically takes around 16.6 hours, while the larger 62kWh battery requires approximately 19.8 hours for a complete charge. However, by utilizing a 7.2kW charger, the charging time can be significantly reduced to just 7 to 9 hours. Additionally, the Neta X is equipped with support for fast DC charging.


The Neta X EV is packed with features designed to impress even the most discerning drivers. In terms of its features, this EV boasts advanced lighting systems, comprising full LED lights, including LED headlights equipped with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as a distinctive split-type LED tail light with a horizontal LED strip. Additionally, it features an 8.9-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch LCD instrument meter equipped with a snapdragon 8155 chip, providing a plethora of information at your fingertips.


Safety remains a top priority for the Neta X EV, with a comprehensive array of features ensuring peace of mind on the road. These include automatic climate control for optimal comfort, advanced ABS with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) for enhanced braking performance, and a rear parking camera to assist with manoeuvring in tight spaces. Other safety enhancements include numerous airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), cornering stability control (CSC), hill assist (HA), and a host of additional features.


The Neta X boasts dimensions of 4619mm in length, 1860mm in width, and 1628mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2770mm and a ground clearance of 185mm. Weighing in at 1740kg, it offers a generous 500 litres of boot space. Capable of reaching speeds up to 150 km/h, the Neta X EV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds. The front and rear tires both come in a size of 225/60 R18 and feature disc brakes. It comes equipped with spacious 18-inch Alloy Wheels (225/60 R18), accentuated by sleek blacked-out B and C pillars.


The Neta X is available in three distinct variants: Comfort, Comfort Long Range, and Luxury. The Neta X price in Nepal starts from NRs. 52 Lakhs for Comfort, NRs. 58 Lakhs for Comfort Long Range, and NRs. 62 Lakhs for Luxury. It is available in six different colour options including in Black, Brown, White, Grey, Pink, and Blue colours. The suspension system of the vehicle is managed by both the McPherson Strut and Multi-Link setup. It will compete with Tata Nexon EV and Seres 3 EV.
