South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor has officially launched the updated Venue. According to the latest report, the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift in Nepal is set to make its debut in the coming days. The new Venue comes with quite a few significant upgrades both on the outside and inside of the SUV and is offered in six variants - E, S, S+, S(O), SX, and SX(O). With several upgraded features, appealing looks, and a variety of powertrain/drivetrain options, the Venue facelift will continue to remain an ideal option in the compact SUV segment.
The most significant the Hyundai Venue facelift has received is its looks. It comes with a futuristic design and is a bit sportier than the previous model. The new facelift comes with new L-shaped wraparound LED tail lights that are connected by an LED light bar, new turn indicators with parking lights up top, sleeker and sharper taillights a wider 'Parametric Jewel Grille', multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels roof rails, a shark fin antenna, and a faux skid plate at the rear bumper and the instrument panel is now digital.
The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift is now available with an updated version of Hyundai's BlueLink connected car tech with 60-plus connected car features including remote climate control, remote door lock/ unlock, remote vehicle status check, find my car, tire-pressure information, fuel level information, speed alert, time fencing alert, and idle time alert. It also comes with other features like wireless charging, a bigger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a premium Arkamys sound system.
Mechanically, the new Hyundai Venue is identical to the outgoing model. Hyundai Venue is a 5-seater SUV and is powered by three different engine configurations including 1.0L Turbo Petrol Engine, 1.2L Petrol Engine, and 1.4L Diesel Engine. Gearbox options include a five-speed manual for 1.2 petrol, a six-speed manual for the 1.4 diesel, a six-speed iMT for the 1.0 Turbo, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) for the 1.0 Turbo. The new facelift now also gets drive mode select with three modes- Normal, Eco, and Sport.
The new Hyundai Venue facelift is available in 7 different color options, namely Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Denim Blue, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, and Fiery Red with a black roof. The 2022 Hyundai Venue competes with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite, and Kia Sonet in Nepal. The price of the Hyundai Venue facelift in Nepal will command a marginal premium over the current options.
