Honda Motorcycle and Scooter has officially launched the much-anticipated BS6 version of its beloved 110cc scooter, the Dio, in Nepal. Syakar Trading, the authorized distributor of Honda scooters in Nepal, has introduced the refreshed Honda Dio 110 BS6 in Nepal, offering it in two different versions: the Standard variant and the Deluxe variant. The new Honda Dio BS6 is here to redefine your riding experience, offering enhanced performance, fuel efficiency, and a sleek design that's bound to turn heads wherever you go. The new Dio scooter's design captures an enticing fusion of charm and youthful spirit, featuring a dynamic and bold appearance.

The heart of the Honda Dio BS6 is its refined engine. It is powered by a 109.51cc, Single-cylinder, Air-cooled, SI, BS6-compliant Fuel Injection, PGM-FI engine that generates a max power of 8.00 PS at 7000 rpm and a max torque of 9.03 Nm at 5250rpm. The engine has a V-Matic transmission with a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 litres and comes with a fuel efficiency of 58.3 kmpl. The Dio comes equipped with the Combined Braking System (CBS) for enhanced safety, even though it doesn't feature disc brakes. The suspension is handled by Spring Loaded Hydraulic handles on both wheels. The BS6 engine not only reduces harmful emissions but also offers improved fuel efficiency.

The first thing that catches your eye when you look at the Honda Dio BS6 is its stunning design. Honda has given it a fresh, modern makeover, making it even more appealing to riders. The new LED headlight and DRL setup give it a nice sleek look in the front. The Deluxe variant has an LED headlamp and the standard variant has a halogen bulb. The Honda Dio DLX gets a Digital Instrument Meter, Gold-Colored Rims, and DLX sticker badging while the Honda Dio STD gets an Analog Meter and Black Rims. It features elements like a dual-level seat, handlebars divided into two sections, and a colour scheme with dual tones. Both variants get a Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine for smoother performance and better mileage.

In terms of its dimensions, the Honda Dio BS6 boasts a length of 1808mm, a width of 723mm, and a height of 1150mm, with a wheelbase measuring 1260mm. Additionally, it offers a substantial ground clearance of 160mm. Despite its impressive features, the scooter maintains a lightweight profile, tipping the scales at just 105kg. Moreover, it provides ample storage space with an accommodating 18-liter capacity beneath the seat. Surprisingly, the Dio BS6 boasts dimensions that set it apart from its predecessor, the Dio BS4. It is 27mm longer, 13mm wider, and 17mm taller, with a wheelbase that has expanded by 22mm.

Honda Dio BS6 Standard price in Nepal is NRs. 2.59 Lakhs while the Honda Dio BS6 Deluxe price in Nepal is NRs. 2.69 Lakhs.  The standard variant of the previous Dio BS4 model in Nepal comes with a price tag of NRs. 2.21 Lakhs, while the deluxe variant is available at NRs. 2.31 Lakhs. The newer BS6 version comes at a premium of approximately Rs. 38,000 compared to the older BS4 model. The Honda Dio offers a variety of color options, including shades like Blue, Yellow, Orange, Grey, Black, and Red.
