According to the latest buzz in the automotive industry, Benelli will be taking the wraps off its all-new motorcycle on December in Nepal. The brand has already sent out the invites while there is no confirmation on any other details of the upcoming motorcycle.

The reports suggest that the brand will unveil any of the three motorcycles namely Leoncino 250, TRK 251, and the Imperiale 400. Since the brand has been focusing on the localization of Imperiale 400 and no test mule of a 250cc Benelli motorcycle has been spotted on the roads in the recent times, one can expect the brand to launch the much anticipated Imperiale 400 at the launch event.

Coming to the design language, the Imperiale 400 adorns a typical retro-inspired design with a round headlamp unit in addition to a split seat setup as well as a standard exhaust system. The motorcycle also features an analog-digital instrument console while at the same time, the all-black look further adds to its sturdy cruiser appeal.

Powering the Benelli Imperiale 400 is a 373.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is capable of generating a maximum power figure of 19.7 HP at 5500 pm and a peak torque of 28 Nm at 3500rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Since the new emission norms will implement in the country in April next year, one can expect Benelli to launch the Imperiale with a BS6-compliant engine.

Featuring a double-cradle frame setup, the motorcycle will get 41mm telescopic forks at the front while the rear will feature dual shock absorbers. The brand will offer a 300mm single disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake unit at the rear mated to dual-channel ABS as standard.

Since the brand is expected to localize major components of Imperiale 400, one can expect it to price the motorcycle at an affordable price tag of around 5 to 8 lakhs. When launched in Nepal, the Benelli Imperiale 400 will compete in the market with the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Jawa Classic 300.
