Czech automobile manufacturer, Škoda has officially launched the new 2022 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift in Nepal. Four years after its entry into the Nepalese market, the Skoda auto launched the Kodiaq in an updated avatar. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Skoda vehicles in Nepal, has announced the launch of the all-new Skoda Kodiaq in Nepal. The new Kodiaq was globally unveiled back in April 2021 and comes with tweaked styling, a new engine as well as a handful of new luxury features.

The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq facelift is equipped with a 2.0 TSI turbocharged, direct-injection petrol motor that generates a 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. This engine allows the Kodiaq to accelerate to 100kph in just 7.8 seconds. The motor comes mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. The new facelifted Kodiaq is a petrol-only model while the pre-lift model was a diesel-only SUV in Nepal.

Skoda Kodiaq is equipped with a sports a large hexagonal grille, upright bonnet, revamped bumper along with a faux aluminum skid plate, slimmer LED headlights with Matrix technology along with LED DRLs, slimmer LED taillights and panoramic sunroof. It gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity along with a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit. In terms of safety, it is equipped with 9 Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System, EBD, Vehicle Stability Control System, and Rear Seat Belts.

Skoda Kodiaq is available in a seven-seater layout and in three trim options- Style, SportLine and Laurin & Klement but it is available only in the Style variant in the Nepalese market. It comes with three driving modes including comfort, eco sport, and individual. The price of a Skoda Kodiaq facelift in Nepal starts at NRs. 1.71 Crore.
