Yamaha Motor is all set to launch the YZF-R15 V4.0 in the Nepalese market. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha motorcycles in Nepal, is gearing to launch YZF-R15 V4.0 in Nepal. According to the latest report, the bike is set to make it to the Nepalese market in the coming month. YZF-R15 V4.0 comes with a new design language, new features, and even a new and sportier version. The bike borrows design cues from the new R7 and the M1 MotoGP machine. 

The new R15 V4 continues to draw power from the 155 cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that produces 18.1 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The fuel-injected motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It is also equipped with disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS including slipper and assist clutch. The bike also includes the reworked suspension set-up (new front suspension) with the USD front forks.

The bike gets a new single bi-functional Class-D LED headlight with the new M-shaped intake duct in the centre. The headlamp is flanked by LED DRLs on either side. The bike also includes a reworked fairing and tail section on the motorcycle. It is also equipped with the special seats, 3D emblem and new ByBre brake calipers. It comes with a new LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and a new trip/info button on the right side of the handlebar.

Yamaha R15 V4 is offered in two special paint schemes including Metallic Grey and the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition. Yamaha R15 V4 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 5.50 Lakhs to NRs. 6.00 Lakhs. It is set to be available in both R15 and R15M variants. Yamaha R15 V4 competes with the likes of KTM RC 125, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, KTM 125 Duke and the Suzuki Gixxer SF250 in the Nepalese market.
