2021 Hero Maestro Edge 125 Launched in Nepal; All You Need To Know

Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the 2021 Hero Maestro Edge in Nepal. The new Maestro Edge 125 scooter now comes with new connected technology and new color options. Apart from the host of new features, the scooter also gets aesthetic updates to keep it looking fresh. The new Maestro Edge is now available in three variants in the Nepalese market including the Drum variant, the Disc variant, and the Connected variant.


The newly launched connected variant of Maestro Edge 125 comes in two color options including Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple options. While the Drum variant comes in four colors - Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black. Pearl Silver White and Matt Techno Blue, the Disc gets six color options - Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black. Pearl Silver White, Matt Techno Blue, Prismatic Yellow, and Prismatic Purple. There is no information regarding color options for the Nepalese market yet.


The new Maestro Edge 125 continue to feature a complete new design including new sharper looking headlamp, new sporty dual tone stripe pattern, under-seat USB charging and masked winkers. The new scooters gets a full-digital instrument cluster. It also features Bluetooth connectivity which can be paired with your smartphone to carry out various functions such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts and miss-call alerts. The new Hero Connect App also includes a scooter topple alert, find my parking, theft alert, trip analysis and vehicle tracking.


The new Maestro Edge 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 9hp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm at 5,500rpm. The scooter is equipped with BS6-compliant Programmed Fuel Inject engine with Hero's ‘XSens Technology’. The suspension, brakes, and tyres remains all the same. This scooter is paired with a V-Matic CVT gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks upfront and a mono-shock at the rear. The new scooter will continue to feature 12-inch black alloy wheels and a textured single-piece seat.


The new version of Hero Maestro Edge price in Nepal starts at NRs. 2,15,000. According to the company, the new Hero Maestro Edge 125 will be available across all Hero dealerships in Nepal very soon and bookings for the model have commenced. The 2021 Maestro Edge competes against the likes of Yamaha Fascino 125 FI Hybrid, TVS NTorq 125, Suzuki Access 125 as well as the Honda Activa 125 in the Nepalese market.
