Yamaha is a well-known brand in the world of two-wheelers, and they have just launched their latest offering in the Nepalese market – the Yamaha Aerox 155. MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes and scooters in Nepal, has confirmed the launch of the Aerox 155 maxi-scooter in Nepal. This new scooter has been designed keeping in mind the needs and demands of the modern Nepalese youth. According to the company, it is available only in a single variant. With its sporty sleek, powerful engine, and advanced features, this maxi-scooter is designed for riders who demand both style and performance.

The Yamaha Aerox is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine that generates a max power of 14.7bhp @8,000rpm and a max torque of 13.9Nm @6,500rpm, mated to a CVT transmission. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Yamaha Aerox 155 comes up with a single-channel anti-lock braking system. It is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The scooter also comes equipped with Yamaha's Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, which optimizes engine performance at both low and high speeds.

One of the most striking things about the Yamaha Aerox 155 is its feature. The scooter comes with premium features such as LED headlights with LED position lamps at the front, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a multifunction key, an automatic start and stop system, and a side-stand engine cut-off function. The instrument panel is also impressive, featuring a digital speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and odometer. It also features an aggressive front fascia with sharp lines and a bold Yamaha logo. The scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels and has a kerb weight of 122 kg with a  24.5-litre under-seat storage.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 price in Nepal is NRs. 4.74 lakhs. It is available in three colours: Blue, Grey Vermillion, and MotoGP Edition. It will compete against the Aprilia SXR 160 in Nepal.
