Months of speculation and waiting came to an end as Yamaha Motor has officially launched the new-generation R15 which has been christened as the Yamaha R15 V4. The company has now also revealed the bike will be launched in the Nepalese market in the coming weeks. The Yamaha R15 V3.0 in Nepal is priced at NRs. 4.90 lakhs. The price of R15 V4.0 is yet to be revealed but the bike will cost depending on the color option. R15 V4 gets a range of enhancements including visual as well as functional updates. Yamaha has also launched R15M.

Yamaha R15 V4 is powered by a BS6 compliant 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 18.4 PS of maximum power at 10,000 RPM and 14.2 Nm of peak torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This bike also includes a slip and assist clutch, traction control system, a quick-shifter on select variants, and a new instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and display for Track and Street modes.

The Yamaha R15 V4 comes with three color options Racing Blue, Dark Knight, and Metallic Red.
