Xpeng Motors, the innovative Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is set to unveil its latest marvel, the Xpeng G6 Electric Coupe SUV in Nepal at the highly anticipated NADA Auto Show 2024. CG Motors, the official distributor for XPeng electric vehicles in Nepal, has teamed up with the leading Chinese smart EV company to introduce this innovative vehicle to the Nepalese market. This groundbreaking vehicle promises cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and sleek design.


Built on XPeng's versatile SEPA 2.0 platform, the G6 can support various vehicle types, including sedans, coupes, SUVs, and pick-up trucks. As the first model on this platform, the G6 benefits from a 20% reduction in XPeng’s R&D cycle, enhancing its market competitiveness. Internationally, the G6 is available in three variants: RWD Standard Range, RWD Long Range, and AWD Performance. For Nepal, the RWD Long Range version is expected.


The Xpeng G6 boasts an electric powertrain that delivers exhilarating performance. It is powered by a 210 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) that generates a max power of 286 PS and a max torque of 440 Nm. It is powered by an 87.5 kWh ternary lithium battery. It offers a 570 km range and can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in approximately 13 hours using a 7.2 kW AC charger. It is built on the SEPA2.0 platform with an 800V architecture, allowing a charging capacity of up to 280kW. This enables the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.


XPeng is known for its emphasis on integrating the latest technology into its vehicles, and the G6 is no exception. It comes packed with an array of impressive features including LED projector headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillights, LED side indicators, a panoramic glass sunroof, four USB ports, two wireless charging stations, an 18-speaker audio system, over-the-air updates, and heated and ventilated front seats. Inside, the dashboard is equipped with a highly responsive 15-inch central touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster.


The XPeng G6 Electric Coupe SUV takes safety to a new level with its comprehensive suite of advanced safety. In terms of safety, it is equipped with 7 airbags, 2 LiDAR radars, 5 millimeter-wave sensors, and 12 cameras. It boasts advanced collision prevention, lane centring, lane change assistance, and lane departure warning. The vehicle's comfort features include dual-zone climate control with a pollen filter and a heat pump. Additional safety measures include blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and the XPILOT 4.0 autonomous driving system.


The XPeng G6 measures 4753 mm in length, 1920 mm in width, and 1650 mm in height, with a 2890 mm wheelbase and 160 mm ground clearance. It weighs 2095 kg and offers a boot capacity of 571 litres, expandable to 1374 litres. Sporting sleek 20-inch alloy wheels, it can reach a top speed of 200 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The vehicle features a front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspension setup.


The XPeng G6 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 1.00 Crores to NRs. 1.30 Crores.
