Czech automobile manufacturer, Skoda Auto is set to launch an all-new Slavia 1.0L TSI sedan in Nepal. The Slavia is one of the best mid-size sedans on offer and for starting 2023 on a great kick, MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Skoda vehicles in Nepal, will introduce Skoda Slavia in Nepal in the coming days. It is a compact car that was first introduced in the 1920s and has a long history of being a reliable and affordable option. It has undergone several updates and redesigns over the years but has always maintained its reputation for being a practical and efficient car.
The new Skoda Slavia is developed on the MQB-A0-IN platform like the Skoda Kushaq SUV. It is powered by the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. The 1.0-litre is equipped with a three-cylinder unit that generates 115hp and 175Nm of peak torque while the 1.5-litre is equipped with a four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 150hp and 250Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional 6-speed automatic torque converter. It also gets a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG) for the 1.5-litre engine.
One of the standout features of the Skoda Slavia is its sleek and modern design. The exterior is sleek and aerodynamic, with sharp lines and a sporty look. It features smart-looking LED headlamps and tail lamps, the signature butterfly grille, fog lights, multi-spoke alloy wheels, wrap-around LED taillights, a shark-fin antenna, and a boot-mounted number plate holder. The interior is equally impressive, with comfortable and supportive seats, as well as a range of high-tech features such as a touchscreen display and a premium sound system.
Skoda Slavia comes with a 10-inch touchscreen and fully digital instrument cluster that is equipped with a wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MySkoda-connected car tech. It also gets automatic AC, rear AC vents, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, an electric sunroof, a wireless charger, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, and an auto-dimming internal rear-view mirror. Safety feature includes six airbags, ESC, an electronic differential system (EDS), a tire pressure monitor, hill-hold control (optional), and a rear parking camera.
Skoda Slavia is available in three variants- Active, Ambition, and Style. The Skoda Slavia price in Nepal is expected around Nrs. 50 to NRs. 60 Lakhs. It will compete against the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Hyundai Verna. The Skoda Slavia is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a stylish and affordable car.
