The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 have just been launched in new colour schemes, and according to the company, the bike is all set to enter the Nepalese market by next month. The 650 Twins also features several Make it Yours (MiY) options with which customers can choose to customize their motorcycles. Once launched in Nepal, this system will be applied to Nepalese consumers as well. The MiY options include seats, touring mirrors, flyscreen, sump guards, and a host of other features.

The Interceptor 650 is now available in two new Standard colour schemes - Canyon Red and Ventura Blue. It also gets two new Custom colourways - Downtown Drag, and Sunset Strip, as well as the Interceptor 650, will continue to be available in the Orange Crush and Baker Express colours. The Continental GT 650 gets two new dual-tone colours - Dux Deluxe and Ventura Storm. It also gets Rocker Red and British Racing Green single-tone colour schemes. The colours of the Twins are based on the original Interceptor 750 which was on the streets in the during1960s.

Apart from the new colours, the Royal Enfield 650 Twins remains the same 648cc, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine which makes 47 bhp at 7,150 rpm and 52 Nm of peak torque at 5,250 rpm. Both bikes share the same braking duties which are handled by a 320 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc, with standard dual-channel ABS. The suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm front fork with 110 mm travel and with 18-inch wheels, and ground clearance of 174 mm, the kerb weight is claimed at 202 kg.

Mechanically, there are no changes to the RE 650 Twins. According to the company, the 650 Twin motorcycles, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 will make a debut in the Nepalese market by next month. The price has not been revealed yet for twins. The launch of the 650 Twins marked a new chapter for Royal Enfield and the mid-sized motorcycle segment along with unique personalization options via MiY will go a long way in bringing more enthusiasts into the brand fold said, CEO, Royal Enfield.
