Ola Electric Scooter is all set to make its debut in the Nepalese market. According to the company, Ola Electric Scooter will be launched in the Nepalese market in the upcoming months. The two scooters will be open for purchase starting from September and deliveries will commence in October. Ola Electric has launched its electric scooters – S1 and S1 Pro across certain Asian countries for now. The e-scooters have been launched at a super competitive price of Rs 79 thousand in India. 

The S1 and S1 Pro have an impressive claimed range of 121km and 181km, respectively; these are likely to be ARAI numbers. Both scooters get fixed batteries, with the S1 getting a 2.98kWh unit and the S1 Pro getting a 3.97kWh battery.  Ola Electric scooter is powered by a ‘Hyperdrive motor’, which produces a peak power output of 8.5kW. The electric motor generates a torque of 58 Nm. Ola S1 gets Disc brakes in the front and rear. The Ola S1 gets two riding modes – Normal and Sports while the S1 Pro gets an additional riding mode called Hyper.

The Ola Electric scooter features a large TFT display that shows a host of information, including navigation and toggle between rider profiles, allowing for individual customization. This scooter gets a reverse mode as well. The S1 Pro variant gets a hill-hold function, cruise control, and voice assistant functions; these aren’t available on the S1. While both, the S1 and S1 Pro, get all-LED lighting. The base S1 variant is available in 5 colors only while the S1 Pro variant will get all 10 color shades, which include Blue, Red, Silver, Yellow, Pink, Black White, Grey, etc. The kerb weight of S1 is 125 Kg. Ola S1 has Tubeless Tyre and Aluminium Alloy Wheels.

According to the company, the S1 and S1 Pro comes with a portable home charger that can be fully charged in a claim of 4.48 hours and 6.30 hours, respectively. The price of Ola electric is yet to be revealed for the Nepalese market.
