Suzuki has just launched its latest masterpiece - the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE. This latest bike from Suzuki is a sports tourer motorcycle with a 776cc engine. The launch of the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE in Nepal may be on the horizon, but currently, Suzuki's focus remains on introducing the V-Strom 250 to the Nepalese market. While the debut of the V-Strom 800DE in Nepal is not imminent, there is a possibility that it could happen sometime next year. At the heart of the V-Strom 800DE lies a potent 776cc V-twin engine, delivering a harmonious blend of power and efficiency. It is powered by Suzuki’s new liquid-cooled, 776cc, 270-crank parallel-twin engine that generates a maximum power of 84.3hp and 78Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bidirectional quick shifter is standard. It is also equipped with a ride-by-wire and traction control. The V-Strom's responsive throttle and smooth power delivery ensure an exhilarating ride, every time.
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE incorporates a range of safety features to ensure a secure and enjoyable riding experience. It comes equipped with a dual-channel ABS braking system. It also offers a G (Gravel) mode and the option to deactivate the rear ABS. Furthermore, it is equipped with the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), offering three distinct riding modes: Active, Basic, and Comfort. This adventure bike features a bi-directional quick-shifter, ride-by-wire technology, and traction control, enhancing its versatility and responsiveness on various road conditions.

It boasts a fuel capacity of 20 litres, coupled with an impressive mileage of approximately 30 kilometres per litre. It features 21/17-inch wire-spoke rims paired with tubed tyres. It boasts an impressive top speed of 190 kilometres per hour while accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 4.0 seconds flat.
The starting price of Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is Rs 10.30 lakh in India. If launched in Nepal, the price of the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is anticipated to exceed 20 lakhs, potentially reaching over 30 lakhs. However, the exact pricing remains uncertain at this point. It is available in three colours - Champion Yellow No. 2, Glass Matte Mechanical Gray and Glass Sparkle Black. With its powerful engine, rugged design, and advanced features, this bike is set to revolutionise the way we explore the world.
