Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular worldwide as more and more people embrace sustainable living. In this exciting wave of change, Nepal is set to welcome a revolutionary new player in the electric vehicle market: the Avatr 11 Electric Crossover SUV. CG Motors and MAW Group, two prominent business organizations, have partnered to bring the electric luxury crossover SUV Avatr 11 in Nepal. Developed by Avatr Technology, a collaboration between Changan Automobile, NIO, and CATL, the Avatr 11 promises to deliver a blend of sleek aesthetics, robust performance, and innovative technology.

The Avatr 11 is available internationally in four distinct variants: two with all-wheel drive (dual motor) and two with rear-wheel drive (single motor). These options offer a driving range between 580 km and 730 km. The specific variant for Nepal hasn't been confirmed, but the likely options are the 630 km range rear-wheel-drive or the 580 km range all-wheel-drive, given their suitability for the Nepalese market. The Avatr 11 is also equipped with various driving modes.

The Avatr 11 rear-wheel-drive (RWD) model is equipped with a 230 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), delivering a maximum power of 312 PS and a peak torque of 370 Nm. On the other hand, the Avatr 11 all-wheel-drive (AWD) option is powered by a Dual PMSM: 195 kW at the front and 230 kW at the rear that generates a max power of 578 PS and a max torque of 650 Nm. Both variants feature a 90 kWh ternary lithium battery, providing ranges of up to 630 km (RWD) and 580 km (AWD). Charging from 0 to 100% takes 13 hours with a 7.2kW AC charger, while fast charging from 30% to 80% can be done in just 15 minutes.

The Avatr 11 is not just another electric SUV; it's a marvel of modern engineering with sleek design and advanced features. It comes equipped with advanced features such as all-LED lighting, including sharp LED projector headlights paired with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and LED tail lamps. It also features frameless doors with concealed automatic door handles and a panoramic glass roof that blocks UV rays. The dashboard features a 15.6-inch central screen, accompanied by a 10.25-inch Full LCD cluster and an extra 10.25-inch screen for the passenger.

The Avatr 11 comes equipped with a comprehensive range of safety features, including six airbags, front and rear ventilated brakes, ABS + EBD, traction control system (TCS), rollover mitigation control (ROM), hill hold and hill descent control, auto hold, a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis, and advanced driver-assistance systems such as parking assist and front and rear collision warning. In addition, it features a premium 25-speaker system, wireless charging, voice recognition, gesture control, face recognition, front camera recording capability, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with Laser Radar technology.

The Avatr 11 measures 4880 mm in length, 1970 mm in width, and 1601 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2975 mm. It weighs 2160 kg (Single Motor RWD) and 2280 kg (Dual Motor AWD). Both variants can reach a top speed of 200 km/h. The dual-motor AWD accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.98 seconds, while the single-motor RWD variant takes 6.6 seconds. The tyre dimensions for both the front and rear are 265/45R21 discs. The suspension responsibilities are managed by independent suspension systems, specifically the double wishbone and five-link designs.

The price of the Avatr 11 in Nepal has not been revealed yet. Furthermore, the exact variant intended for the Nepalese market has not been finalized. However, it is expected that the Avatr 11 will launch in Nepal at some point this year. The colour choices will be unveiled before the launch. With its cutting-edge design, advanced technology, environmental benefits, and versatility, the Avatr 11 is set to revolutionize the automotive market in Nepal.
