Czech automobile manufacturer, Škoda is all set to launch the new 2023 Skoda Kodiaq Facelift in Nepal. MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Skoda cars in Nepal is set to launch Kodiaq Facelift in the coming days. Bookings for the 2023 Skoda Kodiaq are set to open in the coming days while the deliveries will commence by June/July-2023. This impressive seven-seater SUV has received a refresh for the 2023 model year, making it more stylish and tech-packed than ever before. The refreshed model features modern safety equipment and comes with a new engine.
The Skoda Kodiaq Facelift is available with a range of petrol and diesel engines, however only petrol engines will be available in the Nepalese market. It is powered by a 2.0 TSI turbocharged, direct-injection petrol motor that generates a maximum power of 187 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and all variants get all-wheel drive as standard. This impressive powertrain allows the car to reach 0-60 mph in just 7.4 seconds. The suspension setup is covered by a McPherson strut and Coupled Torsion Beam Axle. It comes with a 58-litre fuel tank including a boot space of 270 litres.
The new Kodiaq Facelift gets some cosmetic tweaks along with a bunch of new features. It is equipped with a large sporty hexagonal grille, upright bonnet, revamped bumper along with a faux aluminium skid plate, slimmer LED headlights with Matrix technology along with LED DRLs and slimmer LED taillights. It gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity along with a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit. It also features a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, and a 12-speaker Canton sound system.
In terms of safety, the Skoda Kodiaq Facelift comes with a range of features. It is equipped with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill descent control and ADAS (advanced driving assistance system). It also includes a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an updated parking assistant system. These features not only make the Kodiaq safer to drive, but they also give you peace of mind when you're on the road.
Skoda Kodiaq is available in a seven-seater layout and three trim options - Style, SportLine and Laurin & Klement but it will be available only in the Style variant in the Nepalese market. It comes with three driving modes - comfort, eco sport, and individual. The price of a Skoda Kodiaq facelift in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 1.71 Crore.
