Hero MotoCorp, the iconic two-wheeler manufacturer, has just unleashed a true game-changer into the world of biking - the Hero Karizma XMR 210. Brace yourselves, motorcycle enthusiasts, because Hero is also set to launch the highly anticipated Karizma XMR 210 in Nepal in the coming days. It is the successor to the original Karizma that was first introduced in 2003 under a partnership between Honda and Hero MotoCorp. The new Karizma features a brand-new athletic look with a dynamic fairing design and razor-sharp front fascia. With its power-packed performance, stunning design, and advanced features, it's a bike that's sure to capture the hearts of many in Nepal.
One of the standout features of the Hero Karizma XMR 210 is its powerful engine. It is powered by a 210cc mill, Hero’s first liquid-cooled unit, 4-valve DOHC cylinder that generates a max power of 25.15 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm at 7,250 rpm of peak torque. The unit comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. It rides on 17-inch wheels suspended by a telescopic fork setup up front and a six-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system consists of disc brakes on both wheels equipped with dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety. Additionally, it features a cutting-edge fuel injection system that not only enhances fuel economy but also ensures seamless acceleration.
Hero has always been known for its attention to design and aesthetics, and the Karizma XMR 210 is no exception. It features a muscular fuel tank, full LED lighting with LED DRLs, Bluetooth-enabled full digital instrumentation with segment-first turn-by-turn navigation updates, clip-on bars, adjustable windscreen, split seats, upswept exhaust and a petite tail lamp. The bike's instrument cluster will provide essential information such as gear position, date, time, trip data, odometer reading, fuel level, tachometer, speedometer, and more. From a high ground clearance for off-road expeditions to a comfortable seating position for long rides, every aspect of the new Karizma is engineered to provide maximum comfort.
Hero is set to introduce the Karizma XMR 210 in Nepal with a selection of three colour choices and two distinct variants. The specific colour options available for the Nepalese market will be disclosed during the official launch event. The brand-new Karizma comes with an initial price tag of INR 1.72 lakhs in India. The upcoming Karizma XMR 210 price in Nepal is expected to be around NRs. 3.80 lakhs. Once launched in the Nepalese market, it will compete against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM RC 200, Bajaj RS200 and Yamaha R15 V4.
