Introducing the Nammi 01 Electric Hatchback: Debuting at NADA Auto Show 2024

Dongfeng Motor is preparing to launch its new electric hatchback, the Nammi 01, in Nepal. MAW Vriddhi is gearing up to unveil the Nammi 01 electric hatchback at the forthcoming NADA Auto Show 2024. At present, the Nammi 01 is in the testing phase within our market. MAW Vriddhi, a division of the MAW Group, has recently revealed its exclusive partnership as the authorised importer of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicles in Nepal. With its sleek design, impressive performance, and commitment to sustainability, the Nammi 01 is set to make a significant impact on the Nepalese market. 


One of the standout features of the Nammi 01 is its impressive performance. This premium electric hatchback is powered by a 42.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. It offers a driving range of 430 kilometres based on the NEDC cycle. Using a DC charger, it can be recharged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Although details regarding the motor's capacity, including its power and torque, have not yet been revealed. Dongfeng is said to be focusing on enhancing the charging network across Nepal.


The Nammi 01 comes packed with advanced technology and modern features. The vehicle comes equipped with full LED lighting, a 5-inch LCD instrument display, a multi-functional steering wheel with two spokes, and a central 12.8-inch screen. It also includes features like mobile remote control and updates via wireless connection. The instrument panel shows essential details such as battery level, travel distance, and charging status. The vehicle is equipped with a suite of ADAS features, including lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.


The Dongfeng Nammi 01 has dimensions of 4030 mm length, 1810 mm width, and 1570 mm height. It includes a wheelbase of 2660 mm, a ground clearance of 176 mm, and rides on 17-inch wheels. The vehicle weighs 1352 kilograms and provides a spacious boot capacity of 565 litres. It can reach speeds up to 140 kilometres per hour. The safety package includes multiple airbags and disc brakes with ABS, alongside various other safety features integrated into the vehicle.


The Nammi 01 electric hatchback price in Nepal is expected to be between NRs. 36.00 Lakhs and NRs. 39.00 Lakhs. The Nammi 01 accommodates five passengers and is available in a palette of seven striking colours, comprising four solid hues and three dual-tone combinations. As the NADA Auto Show 2024 approaches, excitement continues to build around the debut of the Nammi 01 Electric Hatchback.
