The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 made its debut in the Indian market some time ago and reports are suggesting that it will soon be introduced in Nepal as well. Royal Enfield is all set to launch its new motorbike the Super Meteor 650 in Nepal shortly. Bookings for the Super Meteor are set to open in the coming days while the deliveries will commence by mid-2024. It is a retro cruiser motorcycle that combines classic styling with modern technology. Once launched in Nepal, the Super Meteor will be the most expensive Royal Enfield motorcycle ever and also the most feature-rich model yet. Royal Enfield’s flagship cruiser looks good and packs premium hardware and a potent engine.

The Super Meteor 650 is built on the same platform as the 650 twins but comes with a new tubular steel frame. It is powered by the same 648cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 47 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch. With both front and rear disc brakes, it comes with dual-channel ABS. It gets 43 mm upside-down forks with 120 mm travel up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, with 101 mm of travel.

In terms of design, the Super Meteor 650 is a true throwback to the golden age of motorcycling. It gets a monopod semi-digital instrument console along with the RE Tripper navigation pod, classic round LED headlight, LED indicators and an LED taillight. The digital instrument displays information like a fuel indicator, trip meter, and odometer along with a clock, and gear position indicator. It also gets a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a scooped seat, and beefy fenders further adding to its cruiser persona. It is equipped with a 19-inch wheel up front and a 16-inch wheel at the rear.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 price in Nepal is expected to be above NRs. 10 lakhs. It is available in three variants: Astral, Interstellar and Celestial. It is also available in five colour options Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. It also comes kitted with a touring windscreen, a deluxe touring seat and a pillion backrest.
