The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has already entered the Indian market, and there are indications that its launch in Nepal is imminent. Bookings for the Super Meteor are set to open in the coming days while the deliveries will commence by mid-2024. With over a century of craftsmanship and innovation, the brand has become synonymous with rugged durability, classic design, and an unmatched riding experience. The Super Meteor 650 is a modern incarnation of this storied tradition.

 

At the heart of the Super Meteor 650 lies a potent twin-cylinder engine, meticulously crafted to deliver a harmonious balance of power and refinement. It is powered by a 648cc BS6 engine that generates a maximum power of 47 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque output of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch. With both front and rear disc brakes, it comes with dual-channel ABS. It gets 43 mm upside-down forks with 120 mm travel up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, with 101 mm of travel.

 

The Super Meteor 650 effortlessly combines the classic styling cues that Royal Enfield is renowned for with modern features. It comes equipped with a monopod semi-digital instrument console along with the RE Tripper navigation pod, classic round LED headlight, LED indicators and an LED taillight. The digital instrument displays information like a fuel indicator, trip meter, and odometer along with a clock, and gear position indicator. It also gets a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a scooped seat, and beefy fenders further adding to its cruiser persona. It also comes with a 19-inch wheel up front and a 16-inch wheel at the rear.

 

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 price in Nepal is expected to be above NRs. 10 lakhs. It is available in three variants: Astral, Interstellar and Celestial. It is also available in five colour options Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. Additionally, it comes equipped with a touring windscreen, a premium touring seat, and a passenger backrest for enhanced comfort and convenience during long rides.
